    The very first day that sweets came off the ration, after the war, I bought 2oz of Sherbet Lemons. (Those hard-boiled sweets)
    They have deteriated ever since. More outer/less inner. :)

    A 6/1 winner finishes the week off for me. 18 points laid out for only 4 winners..but..a profit of 8.5 points. The bank has increased and therefore the value of one point has increased for next week. So, that’s my routine. Good luck with your own. :)

    A couple of winners there today, so, not so bad.
    3.15 won @ SP of 5/1
    4.00 2nd @ SP of 5/1
    4.35 3rd @ SP of 7/2
    5.00 won @ SP of 10/3

    I’ve not looked at tomorrows races yet. I expect the usual busy Saturday!

    (I’m annoyed. F.Done was 8/1 as I was phoning the bet in at 10am. As we spoke it changed from 8/1 to 6/1. I never placed it of course)

    Huguenot finished a poor 5th.
    There are four races of note tomorrow but I have discarded two already. The War 2.50 is a Class 3 but it’s a non handicap. The Kem 7.50 is a Class 2 but a 3yo’s only non handicap.
    The two races left for consideration are the Chep 4.25 Class 3 handicap and the Kem 8.20 Class 1 Listed stakes.

    Ethan, I do jumps, flat, turf and a/w.
    I would not discard a race just because it has one or more 2yo’s in it. I would discard a race that was 2yo’s only though.
