    …that still doesn’t work Peter…I want to do one :x :)

If it doesn’t work by copy and pasting the URL into the… URL at the top; get a photobucket account and upload via URL and paste it into there… should work then, surely?

http://www.allertons.com & http://www.treehouseonline.co.uk have (easier?) tools to do this too.

Yeah it’s easier, but i just like mine cos they look like the type you get in the center pages on Grand National day. :D

If you, on your own, owned a race horse; what would you have your silk colours be?

    Mine would be:

    http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p63/PepsiBoy1/id191702-071602-071617.png

Describe yours and if it’s feasible; i’ll post a pic of what it’d look like, like mine above. It’s fun! :D

That looks great – how did you do it?

There’s a code that you put together and put it into the URL and it comes up. It’s really fun to play with!

    Copy this:

    http://media.gg.com/silks/?id=AABBCC-AA … =%23FFFFFF

The first AABBCC is for the body, the second one is for the cap and third is for the sleeves. Replace the AA with the style number you want, replace BB with the background colour you want and the CC is for the colour of the pattern. Here are the numbers needed…

    Body style:
    01 – plain
02 – plain, line down middle
    03 – chevrons
04 – plain, thick line down middle
    05 – plain, two lines
    06 – plain, 4 thick lines
    07 – horizontal thick line
    08 – 3 horizontal thick lines
09 – half and half vertical
    10 – quarters (harlequin)
    11 – slash
    12 – cross
    13 – V
    14 – 3 chevrons
15 – croatian football shirt type, lots of squares
    16 – diamonds
    17 – polka dots
    18 – stars
    19 – cross of lorraine
    20 – one diamond
    21 – one star
    22 – circle
    23 – triangle
    24 – 4 triangles? Looks awful
    25 – 3 dot slash
    26 – 3 diamond horizontal
    27 – square

    Cap style:
    01 Plain
    02 Horizontal stripes
    03 Vertical stripes
    04 Squares
    05 Dots
    06 Two colours
    07 One Star
    08 One Diamond
    09 Stars
    10 Diamonds

    Sleeve style:
    01 Plain
    02 Horizontal stripe
    03 Horizontal stripes
    04 Two lines (vertical)
    05 Chevrons
    06 Outline
    07 Stars
    08 Spots
    09 Half and half (vertical)
    10 Half and half (horizontal)
    11 Diamonds
    12 Squares

    Colours:
    01 Beige/Off White
    02 Black
    03 Brown
    04 Black
    05 Dark Green
    06 Green
    07 Grey
    08 Light Blue
    09 Green
    10 Royal Red
    11 Mauve
    12 Orange
    13 Pink
    14 Royal Blue/Purple
    15 Red
    16 Blue
    17 White
    18 Yellow

It’s really simple knce you get into it.

I wish her a speedy recovery.

In an interview she said she’s feeling "fantastic", but that doesn’t mean a thing really. Cancer has a way of making it’s victims feel as healthy as ever before seraiously striking them down. I hope this is not the case for her; but until further treatment is done… don’t jump to conclusions.

For me, a race should not be titled as a "national" unless it is at least 4 miles. I cannot see this as a positive move as true fast-ground stayers are going to be severely inconvenienced at a time when marathon races are already scarce.

In that case; what would the Irish and Welsh Nationals be known as? "The Really Long, But Not Long Enough To Be Called A National Irish/Welsh Race"?

I have a slight issue with David Pipe.

It seems he is too keen to put the blinkers on underperforming runners. I appreciate that this tactic has worked well on the odd occassion, but not for the majority? Any views?

I’m sure he’s not just doing it for the fun of it. I don’t think Dave’s the type to think to himself "well Comply or Die improved with the blinkers… so everyone must!" I’m sure there’s methods behind his…. apparant madness.

I always loved the blue and white of the Embrico… Aldaniti’s colours…. and i still hold to this day that Brave Highlander would’ve carried them to victory in 2001 had he not been carried out!

Here’s what my colours would look like:

    http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p63/PepsiBoy1/id191702-071602-071617.png

I also really like the black, white and green of Lady Clarke.

Don’t suppose you have any Becher Chases? I’ve been looking all over for them on the net, but have had no luck

Good call, i’d love to see the 2000 Becher win again of Young Kenny.

And of course who wouldn’t want to see the 2003 Becher? The most eventful in it’s history and the more pulsating finish ever!

I’ve been wanting to see the 1998 Becher for the last 10 years.
