I got the same generic response as everyone else.
Persica ew
1.30 She’s Got A Brother (Naana’s Shadow)
2.05 Hickory Lad (Wild Terrain)
2.40 Persica NAP (Boiling Point)
3.15 Sallaal (Spoken Truth)
4.00 Amelia Earhart NB (Legacy Link)
4.40 Celeborn & Asmen Warrior (Man Of La Mancha)
5.15 Greek Mythology (Stellar Sunrise)
5.50 Pietro (Dance In The Storm)“Worst oaks of all time by a distance, this is barely a group 2, makes it a decent betting field imo, fav is rotten”
We won’t know how good or bad it is until its run. Minnie Hauk was rated 100 going into it and the first 3 favs this year are higher than that going into it. And I will be hoping you’re wrong about the fav ;o)
Moore confirmed for Benvetuno Cellini, Soumillon takes over on Pierre Bonnard, Wayne Lordan on Action who I presume will go off quick from the beginning like he did Sunday.
Just messaged you nwalton.
AOB said this last week…
“Benvenuto always looked like he would get a mile and a half, which he did at Chester. We always felt he would get a mile and a half but could come back to a mile and a quarter, whereas Constitution River will have no problem coming back to a mile. He looked like he might get a mile and a quarter, so he went to Chester to find out and he looked like he did.”
If he’s happy and healthy, CR ought to be going to the Eclipse.
Pleased that Montreal stepped forward from last time. As a pacemaker and sweaty in the prelims not beaten far at all.
Carl 1.30 Opportunity NAP
Ches 3.30 Supido NB
Carl 3.45 Princling
Ches 4.05 ChamponieRes:
Carl 2.33 Redorange
Carl 4.55 St Anton
Carl 4.20 AlbaydaaNot sure I agree with the poor field argument with a horse like Benvenuto Cellini in there. However, he has looked a decent ground horse and if the current rain forecast i’ve seen materialises, thus turning the ground soft, then his winning chance lessens and enhances the chance of a horse like Pierre Bonnard who has winning form on soft.
Pierre Bonnard 8-1
I thought Constitution River was a cert until the draw came out.
Thrown a dart at stablemate Montreal 18-1 ew 4 places from a more favourable draw in the hope we’ve not seen the best of him yet.
The current weather forecast is looking wet for next week which isn’t what i was hoping for.
Well done No Kane No Gain. Thanks Landafar with the updates during the season.
Joliestar’s next intended run is in the 6f QE II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
I’ve not thought of her as a 12f horse, she also has just 2 weeks to recover from today.
