First of all Billion well done on your selection results , having looked at your picks lead me to wonder why i had more or different selections . The reason i asked the question about the forcasted fave was because i use the racing post which for the last 2 days have given 10 picks of which 6 have won and 2 have placed . If i was to worke on a points system it would mean i would be 6 pionts up , its interesting to see if i had used a newspaper ( any one of them ) if i would of had more or less selections .
I think you may be on to something here Billion and its godd to see where the selections are comming from and which ones do perform the best .
For eg i have 6 selections today from the RP but if i say baught the Sun it may have been more or less .

theres one thing i can never understand in the betting forcast in the newspapers " why do they not all agree , some of the time they are vastley different " the answer is prob simple , but sometimes they dont even agree slightly with each other.
I only use the racing post only because i use my laptop and i find it easy , is it a daft question to ask " are there any better " that i can look at .

Fantastic idea Billion , i was just racking my brain trying to remember the strike rate of this . i have looked high and low and i still cant find the stats i did on this last year , I will find it and post at a later day . I was wondering what type of staking plan would be best as the system does rely on a lot of faves which are not going to give us much in the way of odds.From what i can remember quite a good percentage did go off 2nd fave even though in forcast it would of been the fave ( hope you understand that ).I think this happnd yesterday twice and bothe won , interesting really .

Now then Now then , you are correct in what you say Billion in which you look at the forcast sp,s . I have always used the racing post and i also allow the odd couple of 10/3 instead of 7/2 , i could be wrong but i sometimes think there is little diferance anyway my picks for today would be .
3.30 HARRY PATCH 7/4 – 4/1
4.00 NELSONS BOUNTY 11/8 – 7/2
4.15 LOUIS LUDWIG 4/5 – 11/2
4.30 HAMLOOLA 13/8 – 9/2

Hi Billion ,
For one reason or another i have not been posting for what seems ages , anyway i hope you are well .I too remember something about this system and somewhere in my files i have figures to show that this did actually work , perhaps with a tweek in places .
Yesterday i decided to pick some out as i would of done ages ago using what i thought was the said system.
5.15 Invincable Ridge 15/8 – 4/1 won
5.30 Inside 15/8 – 10/3 placed
7.00 Nave 13/8 – 10/3 won
3.45 Island Legend 15/8 – 9/2 placed
3.30 Honest Broker 6/4 – 11/4 won
Well what can you say it did look promising and as i usually stop at a winner in most of my systems this looked even better .
I think there are 5 for today which again i would expect 3 of which to win .

todays selections will follow , as i have been looking at past results for this system i dont think ther,s any milage to be had by an avarage punter. We will get plenty of winners but the problem seems to be the odds , as most of you know all my systems are based around stop at a winner so yesterday was a very good day for me as my results where, 3rd bet win , 2nd bet win , 1st bet win , 3rd bet win .If i bet on points then i would of been down .

not a good start today didnt help by non runners and horses that really should of won and not placed , onwards and upwards as they say . There’s always this evening although the good lady in my life tends to like me spending the evenings with her . I suppose its not to much to ask , " is it " !

HI Billion ,
Your picks are interesting today as 2 of them coincide with my system selections , Highland Warrior and Mostley Bob .
If they stay fave , which they should i would expect them to rump home .
I do agree that sometimes you can have an idea which needs a little help or input , you just can not seem to find the missing something that is usually jumping out at you. I have placed lots of ideas on forums which im sure could of been taken further but unfortunatley havnt .
Whilst i am diddering away can i put farward a system a friend of mine uses and tells me he gets lots of winners . Back fave’s that didnt place last time out , not sure as to how this should be profitable as im not sure if they are each way or not.
