and the greatest of them all -imo-which bring back personal magical memories
nh – fred winter and john francombe
and on the flat dick hern/john dunlop and willie carson
at the prices i like because i couldntsee – came 2nd in the 4miler at cheltenham in 2010 and a horse at a bigger price who i think is ready made for what will undoubtably be a sapping test of stamina must be hello bud – already run well in scottish equivalent and if im reading betting correct is available at about 40’s .
palypso de creek is entered but i cannot recall so will have to look back to see what charlie longsden says about what ground this one like however its always been well thought of and probably just needs time .
i love chepstow nh its my nearest course and i can recall walking the last 2 miles to the course in freezing weather just like now to see the great burrough hill lad win -1984 i think – happy days !
not sure is the package is entered to run in this race but if ever there was one whose day will come this is it .
ive lost count of the days though when ive said that though so i might be way off the mark .
mad max as FIST says above was travelling like a dream at the last meeting so maybe hell be spot on for this one .i know from a lambourn open day visit after hed run in a bumper that this was a special one in fact on the day i can remember talking to someone who said that the placed horse in that bumper was well thought of too- cant remember its name now – will have to look that 0ne up.
i do think there will be an irish winner in 2011 and i think that cooldine will do it . i know he was dropped by 1st two last year after 3 out however i cant get out of my head how well how he won the 2009 rsa
maybe ruby will even ride ?
kybher king still in the reckoning ? take binocular out of the equation and KK was a top winner . also saw a preview evening when paddy brennan said he was like a ferrari in greatwood 2009 .
14/1 has to be worth a shout
so good to see read to see so many non biased opinions on this thread . for me too many of our broadcasters bow down to racing jockey and trainers as if they are gods .
we sometimes forget about the horses who also perform day in day out and as newbury shows today its they who pull in the crowds .
