Ian, I am biased to Desert crown, any reason you can see why
he may not act on the course. I seen him at Nottingham, and he was. “Big lump” last autumn and he seems to have filled out.

Well I surely hope so mate, don’t think there will be a lot between Desert crown and Stone-age timeform ratings after that. But he his a big solid lump, and as we all know they need to act on the track.

As I said 3/5 , I was at Nottingham to watch the debut of Desert crown and was taken by the way he powered away. I am on at 33 and 25 ew, so I was delighted at the performance today. The could be a lot more to come as Bruce Raymond made the point last week that whatever the result there is a lot to work on. With Nathaniel as the sire, and I think also of Enable the extra distance could also be a bonus?. Obviously plenty of dangers, but for once in my life I have a anti post voucher that may return!!.

Guys, New to the forum and really enjoy the views on all the topics. Just interested to read what your views are on Desert Crown for Sir Michael. I was at Nottingham when he won on debut and I was so impressed by the way he powered away in the final furlong. No idea if he has trained on, but timeform analysts are sure he will get the trip. Is this one under the radar?.
