Thanks to kemboy , road to riches e.w , three musketeers and lostintranslation I know have a few more pennies to throw at this , gutted sandymount duke got injured but …

Rathvindon , I’ve already had a few plays at him , in my book he ticks every box …a clear round and I’m sure he,ll be on the premises

Lake view lad …this is horse is granite , thought his run off top weight at Cheltenham was a stonker , if he was trained by a bigger name trainer he,d be shorter ..

Tea for two , ticks a fair few boxes but ….his jumping , I thought he was traveling well before falling at Cheltenham if and it’s a big if he can jump round he’s well handicapped on his old form

Ballyoptic , Scottish grand national form works out well in this race , there’s been a gamble on Joe Farrell but even if Bally doesn’t win I reckon he,ll finish in front of him , ticks a lot of boxes

Finally I reckon Elliot will have a well handicapped horse backing up tiger …but which 1 …I’ve sided with a toi Phil , distance is a big jump up into the dark , run at 3m last time was fine …if he can travel and hunt around the first circuit he’s a nicely weighted class animal

Well that’s my thoughts ….I bet at least 1 falls at the first … Asking as they allcome home safe

I’m with you Peter , I thought forest carried his weight well at Cheltenham and duke of navan kept for this , forest bihan deserves to win a good 1 , he’s looked at the backside of some really good horses

I was a bit disappointed with Supasundae at the festival , I’ll stick with my rule with following horses who did t win at Cheltenham and go with summerville boy e.w , shot in the dark after 2 poor runs this year but he’s fresh and I reckon there’s still a good horse there

At a flat track like aintree I’ll be very surprised if the likes of clan and kemboy won’t have too much speed for EE, I think if he finishes 3rd or 4th he,ll be doing well , I’m having clan win with a clan see obeux/kemboy forecast , clans king George run is the best form in the race and I reckon he,ll have too much pace

Rule no1 for aintree is to look for the horses who missed Cheltenham , after his first runs of the season setting spinner sweet again it must go down as some of the best training of the season , to get him to finish 2nd in the stayers after looking totally scunnered with the game

I think from a value point you can’t , let’s face it red rum was a bigger price and he was running in less competitive races , I love tiger but going by my betting rules I can’t back him, I think the likes of rathvindon is a much better value bet , another question is with the number of runners he has entered …does Elliot have a well handicapped horse sneaking quietly out the stable door while everyone else looks at tiger

With the amount of runners elliot has he could send tiger off in front and use the rest as a gradualing slowing defensive wall …lol :yahoo:

I’m def a topofthegame fan , I think santini is a slow boat , he ran ok at Cheltenham but between him and topofthegame I’d much rather follow top….I think he’s Nichols next GC winner
