I decided to start the thread because iv always been such a fan of this horse. I know he has fell the last two years but hes jus an amazing horse to look ag and the best jumper iv ever seen. And remember to ……. Because he is jumping as the front runner , he jumps the full height where as the other dont because the fence gets smaller the more jump over it …. And black apalachi cleared every of the without even grazing the top. Pure class in my opinion ….. If he never becomes grand national champion he has to be one of the best if not these best four mile stayer never to win the national.
ha i had 20 e/w on piraya to. i always back him for some reason and i couldnt believe that he finished that race seen as he didnt even come close in even a 3 miler before. i think its because he was at the back and by the time he got to the fence it was half the size because the others knocked half it off ha
well in any sport it doesnt always have to be the best performance that ends up the victor in the end. it turned out to be more of a black apalachi loss than a dont push it win i believe. . . . i mean he had to make a blunder to give mccoy a sniff and the great jockey he is , he took the chance but that doesnt mean he deserved to win the race . . .
