insomniac .. I don’t remember the Wilson government, I was still at school. I would say though dismissing £1,500,000,000,000 as a fairytale sum of money is a bit daft. It is one years GDP and almost twice as much as the government spends every year.

Grimes, Hell is real and it’s full of Catholics, lol.

    I agree Stilvi,

we had the same old tripe pedaled out by the Tories when they were last in power. Create mass unemployment and then blame all of the unemployed people for it.

insomniac, Lab/Con/Lib are all the same .. as people get more educated they get more intelligent and therefore more compassionate. So views like your are becoming less prominent in society. That’s probably why the Nasty Party will never get an outright majority in the house of commons ever again.

I don’t think war veterans are pretending they have had their arms blown off, do you?

Do you think when war veterans are shamed in this way they should be compensated?

Btw . the welfare bill being out of control and all that is just a smoke screen. The deficit was created by bailing out the UK banks (£1.5 Trillion) and massive exposure that we have to debt tied up in third world countries like Ireland and Portugal.

ATOS are a ‘for’ profit racket set up by Labour and have been ruthlessly foisted on the disabled by the Tories/Libs, I just hope someone takes them to court and claims compensation for the suffering and misery that they are causing to millions of the worst off in society.

I am just old-fashioned in thinking you show your respect in a quiet and dignified manner?

    +1

    It’s cheap, exploitative and television.

All I can say is that the BBC is not so keen on on other stories about soldiers like http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho … 33611.html

When former Lance-Corporal Mark Dryden walked in to be assessed for the new incapacity benefit, the doctor asked him if he was right-handed. If it was a joke, it was lost on the soldier, whose right arm was blown off in Iraq by a roadside bomb that killed a close friend.

    – not a mention of this on the telly.

"It was utterly degrading. He asked if I was right handed and when I said, ‘Do you see a right hand on my body?" he said, ‘I’ll take that as a no’."

    The Tories really are scumbags.

I agree wit .. to say someone is a racist because they disagree with economic migration is an absurd mind game that anyone with an ounce of intelligence should be able to see right through.

World Health Organisation – on the migration of Health Workers

    http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs301/en/
    Quote:

When a country has a fragile health system, the loss of its health workforce can bring the whole system close to collapse, with the consequences measured in lives lost

.. it’s not the people who say that immigration is a bad idea that are racists, it is those that don’t.

I think the game is up for the EUSSR .. it just seems to be a question of how much more damage they will do before it’s finally wound up. The changes laid out in the Lisbon Treaty was designed to create the illusion that the EU is democratic giving the elected parliament more powers. The EU elections next year will return more euro-sceptic MEPs than ever before from all member states. It will be interesting to see how the Commission deals with a Parliament that won’t rubber stamp their idiotic directives.

Like this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22644280 — the Olive Oil Debacle. And the next one http://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedlaw.html this proposal would make gardeners criminals .. you couldn’t make crap like this up.

    Immigration keeps the NHS going.

.. because it’s cheaper to get nurses and doctors from third world countries than it is to train them yourself.

Don’t they need doctors in Africa, like?

The problem that UKIP have in Scotland is that we already have a four party system with the Tories and their Liberal friends fighting out for third and fourth place.

It’s not a silly question, it’s just a question that evolutionists struggle.

I suppose what you are really trying to say is that, everything evolved after God created it?

Yes but I think they have worked out that they can’t eat them, be eaten by them or shag them, so they generally get ignored by most.

Mmmm.. we are getting to the crux of the whole evolution debate/evidence I think.

You seem to think that darker skinned people live near the tropics and lighter skinned people live near the poles, due to their adaptation to the environment. This is really what is wrong with evolution, that’s basically not right. From the East of the Urals all the way around the globe to Iceland the indigeneous people are darker skinned, in the northern hemisphere? In the Southern hemisphere there aren’t any really southern land masses except terra del fuego and the folk there are of asian origin.

It’s not really a compelling arguement for me, more of an ignore what doesn’t suit the theory kind of observation.

A problem that doesn’t get addressed by evolution is ‘why life?’ Creationists argue that God breathed life into the universe. Evolution by it’s nature can’t have anything being created, only changing what already existed. Something can’t evolve from nothing can it?

I’m not arguing for either standpoint or believing one less than the other but I don’t think either is any more than a theory.

What I do believe is that nobody actually knows.
