    Great post.

Regarding Toronado and Dawn Approach. If Toronado was to beat DA, this week was the week. I only think DA will further improve with a proper preparation unlike this week.

The best horse won on Tuesday.

    Clare Balding is brilliant.

Wouldn’t be able to bare the coverage on the BBC if they’d cover Estimate won regarding the queen.

To me it sounds like the owners and trainer aren’t agreeing in where and what to do.

Nicholls has been saying all along he isn’t convinced on cheltenham yet the owner has said he’s going the RSA.

If he doesn’t go to cheltenham this time around it’s because he’s a gold cup horse for next year. Just like s.conti swerved the festival last year.

I reckon he’ll be trying his hardest to convince owners not to go which isn’t going to plan. If it was down to nicholls he’d be out of the race already. Why is he saying this on the day he took it out of the national hunt chase but left him in the RSA?

If he needs testing ground he certainly shouldn’t be waiting for aintree in april rather than cheltenham in march.

I’m all aboard the Sir Des Champs barmy army however the races SDC has ran this season haven’t told us a lot about him. They have told us a lot about Flemenstar though.

We know that the horses only target this season is March and that the better ground (hopefully) should bring better elevation in the jumping.

It’s a lazy horse but I think he will have more gears to work through if in touching distance coming round the bend.

Does anyone else think Rocky Creek has a massive chance in this. Travels superbly and jumps for fun, im a firm believer and already have this fellow backed @25s on the nose. We all know favourites have a terrible record in this race, and i firmly believe the price on dynaste is way to short, I can see alot of Dynaste fans being very dissapointed come RSA day.

Anyone eles a believer in Rocky Creek?!?
    :)

Yes I’m with you, I’m on Boston Bob at 10s and Rocky Creek at 25s. I’m not 100% Rocky Creek will turn up at Cheltenham and might go Aintree instead but I believe next year he’ll be at the head of the Gold Cup market.

Boston Bob’s performance satisfying at the weekend, asking for more and a faster pace.

Looking to take Dynaste on at the prices.

    Hi,

What does everyone think of Oscara Dara, personally seen as it’s rated too high for the handicaps generally, if it keeps to hurdling the World Hurdle might open up a first class horse.

I think the 20/1 with BV’s offer seems good value, as a lot of the market leaders aren’t certain to run.

    C
