For me its all about number crunching. The form book will continue to become ever more less reliable and relevant with the current watering policy and the increased number of poor quality inconsistent type horses in training.

Thanks, I thought because of the elevation of the racecourse it wasn’t possible to install a watering system there?

Marb any argument you make that disregards the opinions of one of the biggest owners in the game, senior jockeys and trainers is no argument at all.

On a point of value surely Turtle Bowl has to be the one. Ramonti only beat him a neck at Royal Ascot and he beat Geroge Washington in the same race. Last time out at Deauville he went down by only 3 lengths to the supposed best horse on turf anywhere at the moment Manduro. Trip and going suit.

Not saying he’ll win today but at 12/1 on the exchanges I think he’s massive value compared to the prices of the front 2.

agreed TDK, good/soft time wise, certainly not weather induced.

Good to Soft ground reported as Good to Firm for one of the biggest sprints of the year not a disgrace?

The goingstick was reporting 7.9 GF/G in places at 8am this morning. Is that not to be trusted like almost everything else in this game or did they water after the report was published?

Maraahael – Never won above Group 2
Red Rocks – Seems best at a mile and four
Duke – No more than Group class
Red Rock – No better than useful
Finsceal – High class no doubt but still has to prove that beyond a mile

Surely a penalty kick for Dylan which is disappointing given the race’s status and prize money.

Seems like the Arc and Breeders Cup are becoming something of a Cheltenham for flat trainers once the clasics and Royal Ascot are out of the way
