When the Skelton’s first appeared on the scene, I did pretty well with their runners.

However, my liking for them diminished last season when I saw Harry whack a horse after crossing the line when finishing runner-up.
This happened on one, or IIRC two occasions and is ugly to watch.

If this happens in full view on the racecourse and on camera, what happens behind closed doors?

Yes, I think I saw that. IIRC, he said he wished he’d edged towards the flat training side sooner.
Had his first group 1 winner a few days ago?

I’m pretty much a jumps only man.

I avoid at all costs, Olly Murphy, Christian Williams, Sam Thomas, David Pipe (would he have ever made it without Dads rich history) and unless something interesting, Micky Hammond.

    My favourites are:
    Kim Bailey
    Venetia Williams

I also support, but to a lesser extent, Fergal O’Brien, Alex Hales, Paul Webber, Johnny Farrelly, Oliver Greenhall, Nigel Hawke and Jamie Snowdon.

Martin Keighley is rising and the Newland runners are reasonably consistent.

I used to follow Alan King, but he seems to be wilting over jumps, these days.

Never quite got the hang of Jonjo’s runners and the same applies to Nicky Henderson, although I have had a little success with his runners in the last 12 months.
