Maybe 5 years ago he rodo a group winner in the Strawbridge colours and on returning to the weigh room I asked him for a photo with my wife as she is a big fan.
He said not now, I am going to weigh in but I will come outside for a photo when I have done that.

I thought that would be the last we would see of him but true to his word he returned for the photo a few minutes later

I gather the word CONFINED was not in the normal place but further down the conditions. hence four trainers missing it, maybe more trainers missed it in the original entries.

I was very surprised to see a meeting scheduled for Bellewstown on April 1st.
Not so long ago they only had a two day afternoon meeting Wednesday/Thursday in June the week before the Irish Derby

Arthur Moore is married to a sister of Timmy Jones, Mr T A Jones who rode Gay Future at Cartmel.

Tommy Carberry was married to Arthur’s sister Pamela so he was uncle to Paul and Nina Carberry

I remember Arthur riding before taking ove the licence from his father

I bought two tickets for Kempton January 23rd via R4R, the meeting was abandoned due to fog at 8am so full refund due.
I have not received a refund of my points as yet. I emailed Kempton to remind them but still no refund

He had a stroke during covid. He attended Lingfield as a spectator a few times early last year. Have not seen him for ages.

3 runners where place money goes to 6. To the best of my knowledge they do not share 4 – 6 prize money and say only one finisher then only 1st prize is awarded

Mrs Magnier has a bumper debutant at Wetherby today trained by Skelton.

I don’t know why they closed me but I prefer to be closed rather than restricted to pennies like BF Sports Book.
