another devoted forum reader if not poster got to leave after reading this thread ….

weve now got to put up with the normal drivel from Yanks who lets face it have just about got the best of everything and cant take anyone else thinking they have …..how can you take comments seriously about how good their sports are when they call their teams world champions in sports that no -one else plays ……

thank you for a good couple of years reading …bye bye

RACING DAILY – DID I MENTION WORKFORCE ..NO , what planet are you on ???

also just seen the Hannon interview and he says he didnt like the track ….didnt like running downhill but then it was pointed out that he did the same at newbury …which let me think …isnt that quite flat ???…

maybe this is your favourite horse or something , i dont know , but let me just point out ive never bet on Frankel , hes not my favourite , i have no other interests in him , but i do accept that he is the best horse of the year (AT THE MOMENT)

It doestn matter one jot to me if there is a rematch and the places are reversed , i just wish people wouldnt shout their own prefered horse from the rooftops and then make excuses when it loses , as i said earlier , i stopped doing that when i was 10

    Deny it ? im not 10 :))))

i used to be like that when my namesake used to get beaten by monksfield , sea pigeon etc every year at Cheltenham

Luckily i grew out of it

why dont you just accept this is a top horse and not just go back to the ‘well he wouldnt have beaten him by that far if he was in top condition’ type arguement

isnt it more the fact that in the conditions races all his rivals are carrying the same weight whereas in handicaps they will be carrying less ?

if this has been asked before i apologise but in the racing post , has the draw advantage history been changed does anyone know ?

when they split between high , middle and low to show the percentage finishing postions to give the advantage , have they reversed it ???

    cheers

was it Matt Chapman and the ATR ‘boys’ that started calling Wolverhampton wolves……. at least they could call it be the same name that everyone that lives round there calls it , its WOLVO (amongst other things ) …not Wolves …sorry but it does my head in :D

by the way , on a serious note …ive been there and theres only been about 20 of us there …and that included the bar staff so im not surprised the money is so bad …….

    Hi

I remember Sparkies Choice , i was about a 12 year old who put his pocket money on one saturday with Moor Close and Father Delaney in 5p doubles and a treble and netted about £18 …a huge amount that kept me in chocolate for weeks ……

sorry if thats a bit of an irrelevant answer but it bought back happy memories as to when i used to be able to back some winners :)
