Don’t think I’ve ever seen a YouTube podcast, Dazza.

Mainly used for music and sometimes TV and films

Presumably a podcast is just another name for a video; if so, I find that these series keep the synapses firing, though not necessarily in the correct order:

Never looked at it that way, Drone.

So if I watch, say, Kate Bush Sat In Your Lap single, I’m watching a podcast?

Forget that, I think I see what you mean :good:

Dazza may give us a full explanation at some point.

A podcast is a video of an individual speaking on a subject of interest to them, would be my guess; that is, in pre-webular English, a lecture that’s recorded for posterity and broadcast on an internet platform. ‘pod’ presumably refers to an Ipod, or is that iPod?

Whatever, they’re a great free resource for mastication by inquisitive open minds

We’ve never had it so good

Not that the terminology really matters, but I believe a podcast usually only refers to audio series, originating from these being listened to on an iPod.

If you’re watching a series of videos created by the same person or organisation on YouTube, you would be watching their “YouTube Channel”.
