According to YouGov support for the UK joining the current war is at around 10%. Off they go then.

Things are entirely different now. The days of soldiers going over trenches is thankfully history. Todays soldiers will be in underground secure areas firing missiles. Hitler was young when he started wars; hopefully Trump is older and will not last much longer.

Yes it is different but troops on ground would be needed at some point.

I’ve always liked the LibDems and have even campaigned for them in the past. But I’m fed up of Ed Davey constantly criticising Keir Starmer ( à la Badenoch) just for the sake of it. If ever we needed a bit of unity in government it’s now.
At least the politicians of an earlier era were more honest and honourable.
World War One was an utter disaster but at least some of the politicians who got us into it walked the walk. 264 parliamentarians were under arms, 46 died on active service. Almost half of them were killed in action.

I somehow doubt any of our current lot would put their necks on the line. But they have just awarded themselves an above inflation pay rise. Trebles all round!
