I don’t know if this is considered to be in the class of a system, but lately I have realised I no longer seem to be able to win with the same strike rate when backing against form to backing horses which are the talk of the racing world, without making an appearance for however many days and then going to the racecourse and cruising home.
I only really thought of this lately when I read about the trainer of big brown saying he will have nearly everything he has on the horse to win. Then we have tartan bearer who wins the dante when on racecourse form, he shouldnt be within 20 lengths of the winner. I may not post a selection very often and it will probably be for big races at big meetings only, but I wanted to see if hype and speculation can make money when betting.
I will start my bank with £200 and I will have 10% of the bank on each horse I choose.
Its just an experiment that I would like to conduct in public. I don’t know if this is really a system because of the lack of criteria when making a selection. It can be any horse race in the world just needs a very strong word from a trainer or jockey in national press / specialist racing publications.
