August 23, 2011 at 07:31 #368929Has anyone calculated who won this competition….I know it wasn’t me but I’d like to be able to congratulate the winner!

August 23, 2011 at 17:50 #368979Totally agree El Cartero but don’t understand the scoring system.
I think Nathan Hughes with his fantastic nap MARGOT DID should be the winner , but can’t get my head around the scoring on 2nd’s and 3rd’s etc.
Can anyone explain how the points are calculated on the winner, napped choices and placed horses Totally confused.

I’m assuming that the points are allocated as per Bob’s bet365 competition and agree that Nathan has probably won it (if he has there will be a big cheer from all the rest of us in Ward 7 because we seldom win anything).
Still, it was a very enjoyable competition and I look forward to the next one.
SteveIncidentally, if you really are totally confused you are ideal material to join us in ‘Systems’ where total confusion is the name of the game despite Matron’s best efforts.

August 23, 2011 at 21:27 #369004might well take you up on that one elcartero(Steve)..thanks for the invite.
JJM is probably reading the book before he has to part with it, maybe he’ll pass a few tips on to us as consolation prizesThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 24, 2011 at 09:28 #369036The unofficial word from the street is that it was a tight finish and we now have to wait a week for Jessops to develop the photo…….

August 24, 2011 at 10:22 #369041Where is CC2011 when you need him
This Nathan fella is a right dark horse, must be all that Cider
It will be Party Time in Ward 7 when Nathan is confimed as the winner….Matron has already got the little sausage rolls in the oven and is current putting cheese and pineapple on sticks
August 24, 2011 at 14:53 #369065Very premature to start celebrating yet as
A.) Nobody knows the rules of this comp.
B.) Matron’s burnt the sausage rolls
