http://www.turfpix.com have very kindly agreed to put up an excellent pize of a photographic print of Kauto Star winning his second Gold Cup at Cheltenham as first prize in our 2011 Cheltenham BIG 4 competition.
Turfpix proprietor Tracy Roberts has been a great friend to TRF over the years and it’s been a delight to see her go from strength to strength as an extremnely talented equine photography.

Very basically, you simply have to nominate your 1-2-3-4 in each of the four championship races during the festival. Each horse you get in the correct position you get DOUBLE the SP in points. Each one you select which is placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th but NOT in the position you predict you get the SP only in points.
Simple? Good!
In the event of a tie those who have the highest number of correct placings will win, if still equal it will go to who had the highest SP placed correctly, then the next highest and so on until someone comes out ahead.
Entries MUST BE MADE FOR 1PM on the day of each race. Later posts won’t count. However, if you can miss a day or two and your score will still count. You can post all your races on day 1, or do a race a day or whatever, it doesn’t matter. Just as long as your selection for each days race is made before 1pm on that day it doesn’t really matter when you post it.
The races are –
Tuesday – Champion Hurdle
Wednesday – Champion Chase
Thursday – World Hurdle
Friday – Gold CupTactically, remember, correctly predicting a 25/1 fourth place is worth more than a 2/1 winner in this competition!
