    Verdict after the course walking – a low draw will not be an inconvenience this evening and the stands rail has been shifted out quite a few yards from the intersection to the finish, so runners are almost being forced to the far side.

    The sky is getting darker by the minute and looks certain to rain before the end of the evening.

    Going change – now Good, Good to soft in places.

    With the winner on the stand side and the next two on the far side it is hard to take a strong view about which side is best
