Kiltealy Briggs runs in the bumper at Warwick today.
His only previous start was in an Irish PTP but he has WS beside his name. I think the original rules were that WS only had to be declared when running in Britain if they had a previous British start before the surgery.

Have the rules changed such that:
    – the loophole has closed and Irish horses having their first British start have to have WS declared; or
    – all runners in Britain have to have WS declared whether they’ve ever run anywhere or not, like gelding surgery; or
    – I’ve been dozing all summer and Irish horses now have to have WS declared if they’ve ever had a start before the surgery even if they are only going to run in Ireland- ie they have adopted the British rules.

Or did connections nobly (or accidently) declare WS when they didn’t have to?
WS was listed for this horse back in mid August (I don’t know if it had an entry back then and didn’t run).
