The North Of Scotland Cup dream ended for Wick Academy at the semi final stage when they went under 3-1 to Scottish League team Inverness Caley Thistle. Academy have been in the semi finals of this tournament a few times now but can’t seem to get into that elusive final.
Today’s league game against another of the league newcomers Formartine was postponed due to the Harmsworth (Academy’s ground) being waterlogged.
Next tie is against bitter rivals Brora Rangers.
