Our adopted team, Wick Academy, march on in the NUTEL North Of Scotland Cup defeating arch rivals Brora Rangers 3-0 in tonight’s quarter final tie.

Our man-on-the-spot, Alan, sent the following updates during the game –

1-0 (David Allan 6 mins)

2-0 (Cunningham 24 after good build up by D.Allan)

HT 2-0. Maradona style run by Stevie right on half time, cut the ball back to Gary Weir who scuffed his shot against the bar.

Martin Gunn penalty is saved but he scores with a diving header from the rebound! 3-0

FT 3-0. Second half a bit scrappy until that third goal. Loads of yellow cards but no reds. Academy at home to Caley Thistle in the semi final.
