Jim McGrath, C4 pundit and managing director of Timeform, and who has tendered his resignation after 35 years with the latter.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s due in part to the death of Reg Griffin last year, but whatever best wishes to the shrewd fella

    RUK Jimbo?

Maybe not a surprise, let us hope he is getting over the death of his partner and moving on with his life.

I take it Mr.McGrath is gay?Heard he was a while back

Not sure when he came out, but its never been a big deal to anyone I know in the racing media. Though I am told by another gay racing media person, there has been some discrimination against gays in the past in the media side of the business, which I hope is now firmly a thing of the past.
