… Are all these your horse name ideas?
June 2, 2009 at 20:44 #231584Don’t know any double entendres – so long as they’re not American or Irish bred, I think all these names are okay:-
Dobbin
Gerald
Sugarpiehoneybunch
Wonderwall
Great Mongeham
Little MongehamNeed the money first, so I think I’ll start off with the 3m3f H’cap Chase at Sedgefield.
June 22, 2009 at 11:40 #235767This is a bit off of the subject here but it has me thinking, when looking at silks and their prices, I noticed that there was different types of silks that you can purchase. I saw a type of silks which was waterproof and advertised as "Saving 2 1/2 lbs around the course in heavy rain"
Now, is it mandatory for jockeys to have waterproofs on if it rains or is it optional. I ask this because 2 1/2lb could make quite a difference in a handicap situation. I may be going a bit mad but what do others think?
June 22, 2009 at 18:48 #235819My colours are white with red hollow box, checked sleeves and checked cap.
I’ve been looking to name a 2yo of mine, and Batty Crease, Hobdayed and Pinfired are all available.
ETS, as is Abitontheside (I already have one called Abitofargybargy). Probably going with Unlucky.June 22, 2009 at 19:09 #235822I’ve been looking to name a 2yo of mine, and Batty Crease, Hobdayed and Pinfired are all available.
