Wonder if sportinglife will eventually make video form available again for regular computer users.
if not it’s a step backwards as no doubt most punters like myself use that site to watch videos of races, if you can’t even see what your bet looks like, it makes it even more difficult to win against the bookmakers.
it seems that all sites are doing the same now, attheraces had a revamp to make it more accessible for mobile users, this reflects the growing predominance of mobile users over the more old style laptop.
February 24, 2017 at 14:57 #1288671Not sure if this has already been mentioned but in the bottom left hand corner of the new site there is a link
Return to racingpost.com
This takes you back to the old layout
February 24, 2017 at 19:43 #1288695Thanks Aaron, I’ll be using that
February 24, 2017 at 20:54 #1288720I hate the new look and have to keep reverting to the old look!!
February 24, 2017 at 21:51 #1288737I had it in my favs. and every day i log in i get either the old ( what fix what ain’t broke ?) or the new which takes twice the time to get what i want and i did their survey telling them in my opinion the old format was very good and the new for me, sluggish and regressive.
Not sure why every time i log in i get either the good and or bad but thanks to aaron above i will just go straight to the old format.February 24, 2017 at 22:30 #1288744Not sure if this has already been mentioned but in the bottom left hand corner of the new site there is a link

It would be a great idea if this site had a ” like ” tab we could click on to appreciate comments

I’ve often thought the same
February 26, 2017 at 19:09 #1289069I have got used to it now although it is rather busy. Like the Spotlight comment on horses. It is also much quicker to pick up news/reports.
February 26, 2017 at 19:30 #1289071Back to the new layout again so I’ll be looking for that button in the lefthand corner. Thanks for the heads up Aaron.
February 26, 2017 at 19:43 #1289072Darn, no button on the lefthand corner that I can see using both IE10 and Firefox.
February 26, 2017 at 20:10 #1289076Hmm …….just had anothr look at the ‘new’ site and the link to the old site that was in the bottom left corner seems to have disappeared !
(it wasn’t a button but just a link that read ‘return to racingpost…….)
anyway, try this link………
February 27, 2017 at 11:15 #1289131When you’re on the beta site, click on Home and then scroll down to the bottom left. It’s there you’ll find the link that takes you to the old site.
February 27, 2017 at 19:09 #1289195Ah yes, that works Slowly Away and Ravel. Thanks.

Anyone notice how many stories on the new site are for members only?
February 27, 2017 at 21:43 #1289230despise it
February 28, 2017 at 11:48 #1289306I’m looking at the old site today and notice that the race preview under the title ‘Verdict’ appears to have disappeared from under each race card to be replaced by the horse comments which already appear under each horse’s name in the card
February 28, 2017 at 13:16 #1289319The “return to http://www.racingpost.com” link seems to appear and disappear at regular intervals.
Why don’t they just abandon this awful new site and just continue with the one we’re all used to. The “old” site is far, far better.

Looks like they have listened to sense as the new site seems to have disappeared.
Wonder now if sportinglife will follow suit as both were surely haemorrhaging users
