The match at Haig Avenue on Saturday is quite important now.
0-0 with the Wires moves Southport up to the dizzy heights of 19th..

Id say its a done deal Kiddy win, but strange things happen.April 21, 2025 at 17:34 #1727902Brackley won at the Brakes, returned 18
Cobbs (at last
) won a home match 4-1 returned 52.Ongoing + 35.41
Only a few matches left..
April 23, 2025 at 14:06 #1728068Good to see the bets back in profit again.
I heard last night that Kidderminster has already bought 1,200 tickets and there may be more. That already matches Southport’s average attendance this season.
I expect the usual away end will have to be expanded. Kidderminster will probably get at least half of the Poplar Side.
There were 2,450 in attendance for the Marine game at the end of November. It looks like there will be more on Saturday. It will be one of the largest crowds in Haig Avenue since we lost our league status in 1978.
David Morgan (interim manager) is full of fighting talk about not wanting to see another team lift the trophy on the ground. But talk is cheap.
I am glad I cannot go because I wouldn’t like being outnumbered on my own ground!
April 23, 2025 at 16:09 #1728073I did have a read on the Southport forum, some saying keep the Kiddy fans happy and fill them with beer on their probable Championship victory.
Early odds are Southport 10/1 Draw 5/1 Kiddy 2/9
Brackley’s fixture not priced up yet.??Looks like next season Myther Town may be in NLN, complex formula to understand. But three from the National league to go down will be south of the Thames, Fylde the only northern team to be relegated. So the non league pack will be shuffled no doubt.
April 23, 2025 at 17:51 #1728086There is a possibility at least one team will have to be transferred from NLS to NLN. I think Hemel Hempstead is the furthest north.
April 23, 2025 at 20:51 #1728104Thats great for their fans, 3 hour plus trips to most away matches, it didnt do Bishops Stortford any favours last season. They are struggling in the Southern League this time round, its too much to expect a team to travel that much.
Still no prices on Brackley V Farsley..all others are priced up. Hope they will turn up Saturday.April 24, 2025 at 14:45 #1728150Kidderminster now saying their supporters have bought 1,450 tickets. If so, they will certainly outnumber the home support.
April 24, 2025 at 17:13 #1728163The bar will be very busy, Kiddy lads will be used to Cheltenham prices, so no problem charging £7+.
Brackley V Farsley still not priced up, Im wondering if they cant raise a team with all their issues this season.
Clutching at straws..as Brackley dropped a point up there.April 25, 2025 at 09:00 #1728209Up to 1,535 now. At this rate, they may as well put our fans in the away end and let Kidderminster have the rest of the ground!
I hope someone has thought to order more beer and put on more bar staff. The queues during the Marine game were ridiculous.
A larger police presence may be required as well. The Kidderminster fans seem OK but I believe there was trouble last Friday after the Chester game. Unfortunately the crowd can only exit the ground from one side, so everyone ends up on Haig Avenue itself at the same time. I always make a swift exit when we are playing the likes of Chester or Chorley.
April 25, 2025 at 13:17 #1728233Well as long as Kiddy win, they wont cause any bother.
Banbury were at home to AFC Telford the other week, similar to Haig Ave, only one way out. Stewards let all fans out together, Police had a nice collection of people shortly after. Seems to be a problem at Banbury, it costs them a lot of money in Police costs, which they can do without, mostly while in NLN.
Southport probably in their best form for a while only 2 defeats in the last 5 matches..Clutching at straws again.
In the last 28 matches V Kiddy.. Southport FC Win 8, Draw 6, Lose 14, 50/50 then..
April 25, 2025 at 15:56 #1728263I have just seen a few Kidderminster supporters walking through Liverpool Central station. I expect they were heading for the Southport train.
I don’t expect the football team to get anything out of tomorrow’s game but at least the town’s economy will get a much needed boost. The hotels, pubs and restaurants should do well over the next two days.
April 26, 2025 at 13:39 #1728358Crawley V Northampton H 1/1 D 12/5 A 11/4
I think that the price for the away win is due to the Cobbs being safe and on the beach, while Crawley require a win in the relegation fight.
So away win for me 8@11/4
Correct Score 2@11/1KSV1919 V SV Reid, despite the recent good form of KSV, Reid are 2nd in the league prices are H 4/1 D 29/10 A 1/2.
Correct score 1-3 2@10sCorrect score double 1@ 131

No prices for Brackley.
April 26, 2025 at 15:50 #1728390That should be Cobbs correct score 1-2.

Taunton Town mid table
Liverpool champions I’ll settle for that and will return the Circus thread next seasonGood work Landafar
Hoping you keep in profit for the final month 😁Charles Darwin to conquer the World
April 26, 2025 at 16:12 #1728401Brackley 4-0 up on Farsley Celtic.
And Southport now 2-0 up against Kidderminster!!
April 26, 2025 at 16:23 #1728416Kidderminster have pulled one back. Comments on the fan forum suggest Southport are looking tired.
