Apologies if anyone has mentioned this, but I’m finding the American language spell checker on the Posting form is becoming tiresome.
It tries to get me to “apologize” when I wish to apologise, takes me to a “theater” when I want to go to the theatre…
Altogether its “behavior” [sic.] amounts to indecent behaviour on what’s supposed to be a forum dedicated to British Racing, and where the approved language ought to be Queen’s rather than Queens.

Many thanks, Cormack. I notice that you take no notice of it yourself!
January 22, 2010 at 17:52 #271469Has the membership list gone for good?
I’ve noticed that also. Would certainly appreciate its reinstatement, please.
Additionally, can you check the parameters of the search facility, please? Although the advanced options purport to allowing results to be retrieved from further back, in practice the facility recalls them from no more than up to a year ago, if that.
I’ve tried a few of my pet topics as search terms, e.g. Cartmel, Quixall, and have brought back just a couple of results with each rather than the anticipated hundreds.
Apart from upholding the historical usefulness of the site’s old postings, it certainly strikes me as in TRF’s best interests from a housekeeping point of view to be able to resurrect old threads when a recurrent argument / point needs to be made rather than start all over again with a new one.
Many thanks in advance,
gc
