Like the new font.
You still need to get rid of the debris on the rhs of the screen.
November 18, 2009 at 18:31 #259325Sorry, can’t read 15 pages to see if this has come up before but the log-in top right does not work for me – have to log-in via post a reply.
November 18, 2009 at 21:13 #259366Stilvi -same for me – I’ll pass it on.
November 18, 2009 at 21:21 #259371The white Quote box is lost on the new white background
Another good reason to revert to grey
November 19, 2009 at 09:48 #259418As you can see, we’ve just rolled out a new look post style, which aims to reduce the amount of clutter on screen and enable you to focus on what’s important – the content. You can still see a user’s information by hovering over their avatar.
We’ve also fixed a number of the things you’ve flagged up recently:
What happened to the colour coded stickies?
Thanks for pointing this out – the colour coded stickies are now back.
Sorry, can’t read 15 pages to see if this has come up before but the log-in top right does not work for me – have to log-in via post a reply.
This should be fixed now.
Thanks again to everyone who has helped bring these issues to our attention and thanks for your feedback. We’re still working on the site and more improvements will follow shortly!
Best wishes.
November 19, 2009 at 10:12 #259420The new "user information" avatars are little too large for my likening.
The "user information" before was far less instrusive.
The universal "red blobs" certainly don’t "rock my boat".
Sorry.
November 19, 2009 at 12:38 #259435The bold red titles look good imo.
November 19, 2009 at 12:50 #259436Ghastly
Other than the welcome increase in post width all these recent tweaks have done is feck up the decent format and appearance laboriously introduced following the reams of feedback you received after the new site went live
In my blunt but VVHO
November 19, 2009 at 13:14 #259439I prefer the return to the bold titles, however the whole site seems to have gone blurry, in someway…
November 19, 2009 at 14:34 #259446The italics are now too unnecessarily big and shouty.
November 19, 2009 at 14:37 #259447Really don’t like the big red boxes.
November 19, 2009 at 16:31 #259467On it
November 19, 2009 at 21:37 #259512Thanks Corm. Agree with Drone that the ‘quote’ and ‘edit’ facilities get lost on the white background.
Apologies about the negativity, in the main the site remains excellent.
November 20, 2009 at 13:44 #259611When you initially upgraded the site
a couple of months ago, It did’nt
look or feel that good, but It’s
looking much better now & more
user friendly. You’ll always get teething problems
when you change the layout or design,
but you have to move with the times.Keep up the good work.

November 21, 2009 at 19:43 #259843The hardest thing I find about this place is the number of sections….General Racing, Big Race Discussion and Cheltenham all cover the same thing and it is impossible (or too much hard work to follow it). For instance the Maplewood Hurdle was discussed in the Big Race Section but then all the fall out was in the Cheltenham Section….is there really any need for both sections when the National Hunt season is in full flow? When logging for a quick look its a pain in the ass to have to scan through each section of the forum.
November 22, 2009 at 10:46 #259942Why when putting a word in colour does it change font size and go all big?
I accept this is only a small point of un/interest but ffs you fix one thing and break a another…
Still at least the clock is still working…for the moment
November 23, 2009 at 11:10 #260112good morning….
