I’ve had it with complaining about the forum clock to be honest and I found it funny that we have someone that can find time to enter the London marathon but can’t find time to sort out the forum clock.

A picture of a bag is no use to fix the forum clock, even the nice thank you banner at the left hand side won’t fix it either, it really is a simple job too, can’t think why this is overlooked. :D

Don’t worry, we’ll wipe the smile off Uncle Wattie’s face tomorrow evening.

Oh, I forgot, the man who has a penchant for sleeveless cardigans doesn’t smile.

It’s quite possible that Celtic might win tomorrow night but I hope we can do it again to make the title ever so closer, we could probably afford to lose this game and still go onto win the title but time will tell.

it should be a cracker. :D

Might not need to be doctored now, Wattie will be furious to have lost that game, but that’s football.

I was on my way out of the ground thinking we had a satisfied 1-1 draw and the league all but won till that late goal, :( now it only prolongs the season for us and many more tough games are ahead, I hope we can get over the finishing line before we start to run on empty.

I have no complaints as we were down to 10 men and lost our goalie due to injury, probably 2 of our 3 most influential players in McGregor and Cuellar proabably cost us a point.

1 point clear with 2 games in hand surely we’ll still do it but you never know.

I know I may be biased as the late Celtic winner won me some money, but I think it would have been rough justice on Celtic had it finished a draw.

Maybe the rules could be looked into regarding the handball on the line which stopped a certain goal, by possibly awarding the goal instead of the penalty? Although the player was sent off, the pressure on Macdonald was immense for that penalty and I think it would have been wrong if Rangers had gone on to get a draw and benefitted from that incident.

Sorry Zamorston but you do sound a bit biased, we paid the penalty of having our player of the year sent off and then had to face a penalty from the SPL’s top scorer, is that not enough punishment? it wasn’t Rangers’ fault he wasn’t able to convert it, I’d rather the ball went into the net and we kept Cuellar on the park because the game was still there to be drawn or even won.

You need every player on the park in these games and the loss of McGregor & Cuellar cost us, I think we were comfortable after the interval and the game looked a stone wall draw.

This is something we (Celtic fans) disussed last night. McDonald’s resultant pathetic excuse of a penalty irritated me somewhat, after which point, I would gladly have taken the goal and saved Ugly Betty’s (our name for Carlos Cuellar :P ) bacon.

Yes, it would certainly have been rough justice on Celtic had we not taken the three points.

McDonald placed his penalty, there was nowt wrong with it, it was a magnificent stop by the injured McGregor – give credit where it’s due.

McDonald was not supposed to take the penalty – Vennegoor of Hesselink was !

Although McGregor did well (considering his injury); nonetheless, anyone who has played the game will tell you that everything about McDonald’s penalty technique (I use the word loosely) was wrong. He may as well have written a letter to Alan McGregor – such was the telegraphic nature of his shot. Firstly, this hurried and quick turn thing he does before shooting – nay, nay, nay and thrice nay ! That’s the sort of thing a wee boy in the school playground does. In fact, McGregor read it very well, and was on his way down before McDonald followed through. Really good players like Ronaldo (Man U), Ronaldinho and me, for example ( :P ) would have sold him the dummy, then quickly re-adjusted the stride, and immediately re-directed the ball into the opposite corner. 8)
That’s the difference between class and mediocrity.

Not long back from the game, not the best game or performance I’ve seen but as Nathan says another clean sheet, we can now treat the game in Italy as the final and look for any score draw to take us through, we don’t have to win the Italians do, and with our depleted team tonight holding them out and that with them attacking us I have no fears even though there’s still a bit of work to be done.

the dream is still on for the time being. :D
