4:35 Southwell – Raise the Heights performed well on his first run at Southwell and the form of the race is looking good. Should stay the extra distance here and I’ve backed him to win at 100/30. Global Strategy looks the danger.

I’m keen on NAWAYEA (1.50 Southwell) each way, I’ve been keeping an eye on this filly as I feel she can win a small race at big odds in the near future, if she can show the same level of form that she did back in November then I’d fancy her to be placed at least today, first time in a handicap and first time on this surface could bring about the surprise that I’m looking for, anyway I’ll be on each way in a race that won’t be too difficult to win. Soba Jones is my saver.

Nawayea went off like a scalded cat, led the feild a merry dance until under 2f to go, went out like a light as if something amiss and finished last tailed off, however Soba Jones saved the day by winning at 5/1

Already had a 14/1 winner Spirit of Coniston earlier today and I seem to be in good tipping form so thought I’d take advantage while it lasts and post some of my selections on here

    4.35 Southwell
Miss Holly doesn’t have a lot of pace but stays well and the drop to 1m6 may be in her favour. 8/1 ew
Blue Hills also represents a bit of value. Blinkers seemed to have helped him and should be there or thereabouts. 10/1 ew

    5.05 Southwell
Shava was unlucky in running last time out and was running on when he finally saw some daylight. Backed in from 11/2 to 9/2 today and has a strong chance again. 9/2 win
