5:00 Lingfield – This race will not take much winning illustrated by the fact that a plater is joint top weight. Joint favs are the 10yo King Triton who has a 7lb penalty for easily winning a slowly run four runner race and Jolly Boy who finished 3rd over hurdles recently in a moderate looking race.
Both look poor value imo and I like the chances of Hiho Silver Lining who has only run twice since moving to the yard of Willie Musson . Finished 6th in a reasonable novice race and then ran 3rd in a better race than this last time at Sandown. This race is a drop in class for him and I’ve backed him e/way at 6/1. It will be no surprise to me if this horse is gambled on.

    Kempton 4.40
Lucius Verrus could well return to winning form today back in this company after enjoying no luck in running in his last. 6f is his ideal distance and no surprise to see him make the frame. 12-1 e/w

    Kempton 5.10
Annemasse may take some beating on this, his second start. An easy winner in a lesser race, he shapes as though the extra furlong should not be a problem. Improvement expected and should be tough to beat. 3-1 win

    Kempton 5.40
Speagle convincingly accepted his step up to 12f last time out to run out an easy winner. A repeat performance will make him very tough to beat, despite step up in class. 9-2 win
