Anything been said about sectionals yet? I know the front two were well beaten, but the winner and second were never far away. Not sure it was that strongly run.
It’s pretty soft but – at the moment with just one race for evidence – I wouldn’t call it heavy.

Arkle 16.36s slow – as usual the Old Course Chase circuit riding that bit better.

Would have been even slower if Gaelic Warrior hadn’t turned up

Have to say the racing has been a better spectacle than I expected with this ground.

The great covering of grass this year has really helped and the horses aren’t coming come in a muddy mess like they’d usually do on soft/heavy.

Any updates on the weather for tomorrow nwalton?

I’m 40 miles south of Prestbury Park.

Our local forecast, this eve, which covers Glos as well as Bristol (and South of me) showed some beefy showers coming through by midday, with poss of them continuing on and off thru the afternoon.

First race 12 seconds slower than Racing Post Standard.

    It’s near good-soft ground.

Yes GT- only about 2.5 sec slower than Turners last year, so not too bad.
