    ^Just did

Aidan could COT anywhere next but like I just posted on gingers thread.. Horse has plenty of pace and Aidan (team) will be looking to get a 10f Group 1 on the CV whilst he has a battalion that could run in the Irish Derby. Bet365 sticking their neck out a bit here

8/1 City of Troy Eclipse £10.00

    -£15.00

Had to nip out for a couple of hours. Phone data was low or signal trouble trying to get a bit more on COT. Price went with bet365 by the time I had got back online so was passing a Ladbrokes and took the 6’s with them which I see has now gone

I don’t like to put up a price which has now gone but like I say had trouble with getting online, for thread purposes I’ll call it 5/1 which is top price with a few rogue firms

    5/1 City of Troy – Eclipse £20.00

    -£35.00

Market in favour of Tunbridge Wells all day, nothing coming in for the newcomers
O’brien’s horse was slowly away on debut but did finished well and the Curragh should suit with the stiffer finish
Sky have boosted the distance bet

5/6 Tunbridge Wells – 5.20 Curragh to win by 1.0 lengths or more £5.00

    -£40.00

I think I wrote more about Royal Scotsman last season than any other horse. I know the Epsom race was a big step down in class but that performance was right up there. Considering all the problems he’s had that will give them plenty of confidence going forward. I’d expect them to employ similar tactics in the Queen Anne. If nothing goes with him he could be hard to pull back. More likely though could be the possibility of a bit of a tear up which would bring the closers into play including Witch Hunter who needs racing to keep fit. He was in need of two runs before his third in the Lockinge in which he was away from the pace down the stands side. Witch Hunter could be running this weekend which would fit in well before a crack at this.

    25/1 Royal Scotsman – Queen Anne £2.10
    25/1 Witch Hunter – Queen Anne £2.07

    -£35.00

I backed Tarawa last time and she ran with credit but not given a hard time once beaten, slowly away and looked in need of the run judging by the size of her.. :rose:
This race is a similar sort of standard but the going is quicker and her best run or at least better form was on a sound surface in the Irish Guineas last year and the race after. up in trip but this track shouldn’t hold no fears in that regard

    2/1 Tarawa – 6.30 Leopardstown £5.00

    -£40.00

    Tarawa returned £15.00

    Smooth stuff from Welds horse… :-) :-)

Aidan and the team have conned me into thinking City of Troy can win the Breeders cup Classic I’ll just be happy if he runs in it..

8/1 City of Troy – Breeders’ Cup Classic 2024 £5.00

City of Troy is now a best price 5/2 for the Eclipse… Still has to run in it as Aidan always has his Derby winners run in the Irish Derby but the market has heavily swayed towards the 10f race and Aidan does have big bullets for the other race anyway. You never know which what way they may go but the momentum is Sandown.
He then has to win the Eclipse, no race is easy…. If he wins then it should be system go for the Travers, he is currently 7/2 for that but its the Breeders Cup that may prove to be the pinnacle

8/1 City of Troy – Breeders Cup Classic £5.00

    -£30.00

Could be plenty of pace in the John of Gaunt stakes which will set it up for Bless Him and the wonder horse Witch Hunter
Can’t see Witch Hunter out of the first place… Which makes me wonder is he here for a Queen Anne warm up or a boost
Bless Him is more of an Ascot specialist but can’t ignore him at the price

11/2 Witch Hunter – John Of Gaunt Stakes £8.00
25/1 Bless Him John Of Gaunt Stakes £2.00

    -£40.00

Wealth Manager, Have you put your rule over LA for the Irish Derby yet?

If COT goes Sandown, LA wins the Irish Derby. I haven’t bet him as it could be a double blow if COT goes Irish Derby…
He’s no boat and done extremely well at Epsom considering he went all Gaelic Warrior pre race and then sat up just off the strong pace

I’d like to see Diego Velazquez take his chance in the Irish Derby. I really think he needs 12f and the Curragh has that stiff finish. He’s had excuses for his two runs in France but he lacks the tactical speed for 10f and below
Step him up Aidan, you know it makes sense

Sky have boosted Sea just in Time to just about a backable price.
She made light work on debut against an experience or at least more experienced opposition and this field doesn’t look the strongest either and looks like Haggas has found a nice race before she gets stuck into her fancy entries.

    4/5 Sea Just in Time – 3.55 Goodwood £15.00

    -£55.00

I’d imagine Aidan will have Kyprios primed for the Ascot Gold Cup.. At the prices I want to take him on
Coltrane ran once last season before the Gold Cup and they have gone the same way again again this time. He went off fav last year and thrives around Ascot and seemingly the trip, travels strong, enjoys a battle, what’s not to like.

    16/1 Coltrane – Ascot Gold Cup £3.00

    -£58.00

Haatem could be a lively each way play at 40’s although I’m playing a very small win saver on him
reckon the numbers could disintegrate and not sure the opposition will not want to make it a stamina test against COT
City of Troy of course could make the running himself but if not Haatem could use his early pace to take up the running and dictate things to suit himself
Hannon has said its likely he splits Haatem and Rosallion up and he holds an entry in this

    40/1 Haatem – Eclipse £2.00

    -£60.00
