I’m going to keep this thread separate to the Circus one with just my bets on Liverpool only for the year

The Reds have amassed huge totals in the past two seasons yet find themselves 2nd favs for the PL..
City we all know are unstoppable at times yet their league campaign was very poor y their own high standards, they have it all to prove now and the odds should be met in the middle minimum in my view.
This re-started league could work in Liverpool’s favour as they now get a break whilst City have CL games and United Europa League Cup games. They could use that as a sort of pre season however the stakes are a bit high for that so unless they get knocked out early will not get a decent break for the start of next season.

I’m expecting Klopp to go strong in this and demand high standards
Arsenal have only had the one friendly and could be without a few players
Taking a price on the handicap before the sides get announced and maybe a first scorer and correct score afterwards

    7/4 Liverpool -1 goal £5.00

    Line ups as expected
looking at Arsenal they have a lot of defensive players on the pitch, likelihood they will play as they did vs City and Chelsea in FA Cup in defending well and counter attacking. correct score is tricky enough, I think Liverpool will win to nil but gone with a Arsenal goal in the c/s as cover. Firmino seems to score past Arsenal a lot so gone with him to get the 1st

23/10 Liverpool win to nil £5.00
    7/1 Firmino 1st scorer £3.00
    12/1 Liverpool 3-1 c/s £2.00
    25/1 Liverpool 4-1 c/s £1.00

Paddy Power are generously handing out £5 freebets so I’ve put on a 2-0 victory to Liverpool
Leeds are decent side coming up from the Championship, they will give a very good account of themselves I’m sure but this will be an eye opener for them.
They tend to play very tight marking system and if they get too touch tight to someone like Salah he will turn them inside out

Paddy Power are handing out the freebets on Chelsea v Liverpool on Sunday, I’m finding it tricky to get a real feel for how this one will pan out but one thing for sure is the Chelsea keeper if he plays has been fragile, particularly from crosses. So I’ve gone with Van Dijk to get the 1st goal because he reeks havoc from set plays with his height, power and that massive leap of his.

16/1 Van Dijk 1st goalscorer £5.00 Freebet (power up)

Skybet are giving away a £5.00 freebet if you place a bet on the Chelsea v Liverpool game 5p minimum
I’ll have some of that especially given that they have boosted VVD to 14’s to score a header. As per last post Dangerous from corners

    14/1 Van Dijk to score a header 5p + £5.00 Freebet

Thiago out to 9’s now for the above but still a bit short to play
Lincoln have started the season well and will be right up for this but I’m expecting Liverpool to field a strong enough side to get through without too much trouble. I’ll wait for the line up before having another play but for now have done the handicap

Something like that would be more than good enough for the handicap
I’m thinking if Gomez and Matip are still out of the Arsenal game he may not risk Fabinho which would leave us short at the back which would open up the Liverpool to win both teams to score chance.
Elliot may feature too although more chance him being on the bench

    8/1 Harvey Elliot 1st goalscorer £2.00
    14/1 Van Dijk 1st goalscorer £2.00
5/1 Van Dijk headed shot on target £2.00
