Hello fellow race goers, need to help.
Can you go early to an all weather meeting and walk the course?
Now don’t laugh, yes i know but I want too do it.

It occurred to me that I have never been to Southwell, and Wolverhampton, and yet honestly believe to know so very much about these courses, yet I have never been to these two venues, and never walked along the course to see what he horses and jocks see. Ironic isn’t it.

Try dropping an email or making a call to the Clerk of the Course or the Course Manager before you visit. I’m sure they would try to accomodate such a request if they could.

Last summer we had our caravan on Cheltenham Racecourse – woke up each morning to a glorious view of the course and Cleeve Hill – one early evening there was a magnificent double rainbow right over the course. Longing to walk the course but Joe Public not allowed … grrh … would have loved to have walked it as it looks so different on tv – and the different courses make it quite confusing too … but sadly it was a no no. Enjoyed the Hall of Fame there.

Topically I can’t think of a better track to walk round than Aintree, well worth doing.
