Update: Now on to getting rid of the off-track betting facilities, thereby getting rid of Freehold (which has been around since 1869) and Atlantic City Race Course (the best and most beautiful turf course in the country).All the scary details and updates on the Meadowlands situation http://viewfromthegrandstand.blogspot.com/ . Christie isn’t just incompetent or dumb or even greedy like most of the others on the list, he’s actively trying to destroy horse racing in New Jersey and thus destroy an entire sport, harness racing. I will reiterate that he’s a front-runner for the 2012 Republican nomination for President.
