I think one of the local horses will win it, but I’ll try Cavalry Master at 50s ew 4pl.
October 12, 2025 at 11:19 #1741881I like a punt in this, Gentlemen De Reve according to the press was supplemented. 25s E/W 4 places
Chelmsford as a win bet a 3s.October 12, 2025 at 14:20 #1741911Was bought so that the new owners son could ride in the race ( just watched an interview with him). Would be a great sporting achievement were he to win it! Another time when I think of when Liam went to ride there #neverforgotten
October 12, 2025 at 14:33 #1741915October 12, 2025 at 14:48 #1741917Oh my life. What a race! He just crept into the race. Never in doubt!
October 12, 2025 at 14:50 #1741918Mind you he said he didn’t mean to be that far back…
October 12, 2025 at 14:53 #1741919Donoghue is some pilot. There isn’t another one on these shores could ride that course as well.
October 12, 2025 at 15:02 #1741920Did Klark Kent try to run out again?
October 12, 2025 at 15:04 #1741921It was a great ride. He was very patient and went to the front inside the final furlong. Well done connections! Not too many happy Czech faces out there….
October 12, 2025 at 15:10 #1741923I should have had an ew on the second. Who was the horse that Jan used to come over to ride here on a regular basis years ago?
October 12, 2025 at 16:19 #1741925Knockara Beau, if I remember correctly.
Edit: just checked the RP website, and the pair won the 2014 Cleeve Hurdle at 66-1.
October 12, 2025 at 16:42 #1741932Great result for Stumptown and connections, if they go again next year might be worth a trip.
Czech wine aint too bad. But the schnaps. Ouch.
October 12, 2025 at 20:13 #1741951And it was a bit like last weeks Arc only this time it was the jockey that struggled to get there on time! Yes, Knockara Beau, that’s the one. I should have remembered because we saw him race at Kelso once.
