An Each Way bet is the best value bet you can place.
Take for instance a winning selection with odds of 4/1 in a handicap or non handicap paying out on the place at 1/5 the SP(Often a selction can be higher SP or better place terms).
A winning £50 EW single bet(total stake £100) pays out £340.
A losing bet(placed) pays out £90.So for a risk of £10 I have gained winning odds of 33/1 on a 4/1 shot.
VALUE.
Example , you back 10 horses 50 quid each way all at 10/1
place terms 1/5 th2 are placed and one wins
investment 1000
return 1000
whereas if u back them all for a win , what happens , you get 1100 , showing a profit of 100 overall

You’re treating us like xxxxx because you obviously beleive that every 4/1 shot will win. Its plonkers like you that pay the rent at your local bookies.
Unhappy, you do me a disservice. Its plonkers like me keeps those lovely people sat behind the counters in jobs, the massive bookmaking corporations in profit, the jockey club something to chat about and try to wring from their grip funding for the sport, television presenters something to look knowledgeable about, hacks some thing to report and, perhaps most importantly, about the successful winning punters (like you lot on here) something to win.
