hi mate.out of the ones you mentioned theres only alpha tauri and short supply that have usa dirt pedigree’s.we are going to stick with usa dirt bred HAVING THERE 1ST RUN AT SOUTHWELL,this is the system that throughs up titanic priced winners, but as with any system lets not get carried away cos there will be lossers aswell.
Thanks for the reply.
I can see where I went wrong with the other horses (not actually being US bred even if their sires were) and can see from the RP site that the sire of Short Supply (Point Given) was a good performer on US dirt, so follow that logic, but couldn’t see where the same could be applied for the sire of Alpha Tauri. Is there another site that would give that kind of info about US horses that RP doesn’t?
Apologies if I’m being a bit of a pain, I’ve only been following horses for a year or so and I’m just trying yo understand.
yeah it can be a bit confusing if ya dont know what to look for (usa dirt bred pedigree).what i will do is put the horses that apply to the system on here each day or when southwell is on.
December 26, 2010 at 19:18 #333900looks like southwell is the only meeting for tommorow.ok these fit the bill for the system.12-10 reachtothestars 1-50 iron out 2-25 masteeat 3-35 wigrams turn.4 nice prices aswell, need a wheel barrow to collect your winnings if these 4 go in lol.
December 27, 2010 at 11:28 #333943Re. your selection in the 1:50 race, Iron Out.
Today’s race will be the horse’s seventh run at Southwell.
In the same race Jack Dawkins would be a qualifier for the system wouldn’t it?

January 11, 2011 at 06:06 #335396No qualifiers today.
January 11, 2011 at 11:00 #335424As Discretedata has posted there are no qualifiers today having their first run at Southwell.
There are however 2 worthy of consideration
Duar Mapel 1.20 having its 2nd run at Southwell 15.0 on BF
Ingleby King 3.50 having won on its only 2 previous visits
3.05 on Betfair

January 11, 2011 at 11:39 #335428Interesting Thread
If you look at all USA horses at Southwell compared to other AW tracks there is a significant difference
Here are the returns for backing all horses that are USA bred regardless of how many runs they have had there
Returns are to 1pt level stakes at BSP with 5% commission and back to 1997Southwell +748 (+17.57% ROI)
Wolverhamtpon +184.12 (+3.14% ROI)
Kempton -812.63 (-29.52% ROI)
What this shows is that USA horses do much better at Southwell
January 11, 2011 at 13:12 #335443I spotted Duar Mapel in the RP this morning, hes out to 25/1 so gonna have a tiny e/w punt on.
Have Ingelby King in a double with spic n span, the first one went in hopefully the other will oblige too!!
January 13, 2011 at 00:09 #335643Any qualifiers for racing on thursday??
Worth a look in the morning!!
January 13, 2011 at 04:30 #335653No qualifiers today (Thursday).
January 16, 2011 at 04:11 #336176Two qualifiers today (Sunday 16 Jan)
The Dukes Arch (USA) 2.30 Southwell (forecast 5/1)
Beseech (USA) 2.30 Southwell (forecast 14/1)January 16, 2011 at 17:49 #336273I think Beseech is worth another go at southwell, terrible start coming out of the stalls but lost alot of ground rearing out.
January 18, 2011 at 09:01 #336513I have been running some queries through Raceform Interactive & there does seem to be mileage in this.
I came across this when querying USA breds at British AW tracks but never knew it had profited as much.January 25, 2011 at 05:59 #337554Qualifiers for Tuesday 25 Jan 2011
All Moving Parts (USA) 2.20 Southwell
Mcbirney (USA) 3.50 SouthwellFebruary 2, 2011 at 12:55 #338801i have been doing the general speed figures since june 2010 and southwell out beats any aw track with the speed very rarely do i get a losing day at southwell
i use a beyer database and subscribe to the washington post so i run the uk horses throught the beyer then visit america and get the usa horses beyer figures .. this is a great way of spotting the usa speed horses against he uk ones
f.t.o runners as suggested do extremley well
and you are bang on with southwell conditions which replicate american tracks
anyway goodluck and ill keep watching
March 22, 2011 at 13:56 #346742This thread has been quite for a while!!
