RAFAEL NADAL 9/2 Mens title
Since won French open done well got to last 4 at Wimbledon lost to Federer and then went on to win Rogers cup in Canada had a rest after that be fresh here after avoid Cincinatti masters also Federer and Djokovic in other half to.Has Millman up 1st then could bump into a Cilic or Khachanov or Isner but should be to good them may get Zverev but that guy needs to prove himself at highest level over 5sets.Feel get to final.
STEFANOS TSITIPAS 66/1 Ante post
As people on here know if read 1st page of my sports bets thread see i flag him up at 66/1 for this slam and done well on hardcourts lost a semi final to Kyrgios in DC which he could of won.And got a feeling that loss take its toil on him.Has Rublev up 1st be tough opener but that guy could be tired if getting to Winston salem final.A 3rd round match with Kyrgios be tasty but with Nick no idea if get that far if can get past Nick then other seeds not worry him like Monfills,Auger Allisame even Thiem. But a meeting with Nadal in semi final.
REILY OPELKA 500/1
A match with Fognini up 1st for him while Fabio ok on hardcourts there every chance this guy can serve ace after ace at him can get him annoyed this guy has a belting serve he serves aces for fun a younger version of John Isner he is.Rest of quarter not daunting yes Fritz a danger along with Medvedev but will the russian be a bit to tired 3weeks in a row got to a final. While Djokovic in quarters be hard who knows maybe serb not get that far and 500/1 bet could look massive.
August 22, 2019 at 18:44 #1451715KAROLINA PLISKOVA 16/1 Womens title
This big serving czech has done well this year won in Brisbane and Eastbourne some doubt her at grand slams but for me this ideal venue for her should not be forgotten beat a peak Serena here to get to final but lost to than no1 Kerber in 3sets.Has a qualifer up 1st don’t meet a seed until 3rd round vs Garcia or Vondrousouva though doubt either of those beat her. While Konta not in form Yastremska a dangerous rival Keys and Kenin her path not look easy but she good enough to beat them all.A chance get Serena in semi she beat her before do it again.
BIANCIA ANDRESCU 16/1
In other half of draw she been one of rising stars in WTA this year got to a final in Auckland lost to Georges then went to Indian wells has a 200/1 shot won her biggest title beat Kerber in final.Had injury issues but prove that they all behind her now by winning Rogers cup in Canada she already with those 2 big wins she got the class and bottle to win both events so no reason not get to final here.Draw got Halep i say that 1st i expect her not to have any issues early on.Halep be hard but can past her then a QF with Stephens out of form or Kvitova injury issues a likely semi final with Osaka but this young candian can replace her as next teen star to grand slam glory.
So guys any bets here this year
August 27, 2019 at 10:43 #1452245Pliskova into next round she is but won 2 tie breakers
While my 500/1 bet Opelka into next round beat Fognini 3/1 happy with that so 500/1 dream still alive it is Grimes
August 28, 2019 at 15:29 #1452285Great stuff, Dazzler! Will The Mighty O’Reilly* go into quarter finals or semis or some other round, now ?
*Probably before your time, Dazzler, but I have it on good authoriy that he’s a cousin of The Mighty Quinn. Wonderful times for pop songs, the sixties, Daz – utterly crazy song-titles and lyrics. Would Wild Thang, John Daly, be playing with the Seniors now, or is he still ‘firing’ with the youngsters?
They knew how to write songs in my day, Dazz. When I werrre a lad, back in the mists of antiquity….. when Noah wre a lad for that, matter.
August 28, 2019 at 16:49 #1452287Into 2nd round he is now grimes got to win 7 matches get to final but will have tough matches coming up
September 2, 2019 at 23:54 #1452737I see Novak beat Roge, tonicht, Dazzler. Still got Andreescu.. ever hopeful.
September 5, 2019 at 15:01 #1452894Bit late taking a hand in this Darren, and I think your man Nadal is nearly home and
hosed. All the indications are that he should get past Berrettini without too much
trouble, but tennis throws up some odd results and he’s the only one left in the
tournament at decent enough odds to interest me. I’m having a few quid on him at 25/1,
and at worst my mate Darren will be one step closer to victory after the match, but
just in case there is an upset I’ll chance a bet.Don’t worry Darren, you don’t have to wish me well with my bet, you’ll be hoping I get
a right humping, and you’re almost certainly correct. It will give me a little interest,
and I’ll be happy to shout on your man after that to take the tournament at a very nice
9/2. Best of luck mateSeptember 5, 2019 at 20:18 #1452913Yep. Good Luck,Dazzler, with Nadal. I gave up on him a long time ago, while he was still in his prime, apparently! I still can’t believe he hasn’t torn his m*s**es* to beggary.
Tickled to see your tip, Andreescu, won today, as apparently I had a bet on her, as well as in the final. That would be a particularly lovely turn-up.
PS: I missed out the asterisks in ‘muscles’ for fear of ‘putting the mockers’ on Nadal, before you collected, Dazzler !
September 8, 2019 at 12:42 #1453175Very happy with Bianca a lovely 16/1 winner
Now i hope Rafa win mens tonight
September 8, 2019 at 14:35 #1453192WELL DONE WITH BIANCA DAZZLER
Get Rafa in now mateSeptember 8, 2019 at 16:03 #1453205500/1 ‘My bloody owth, Dazzler ! as the Aussies would hurl. Too speculative for most of us, but I reckon, but I expect you’ve already spoken to various estate-agents and put down a deposit on some nice manor house and estate in Sunningdale, Wentworth – some such area. You could try and buy the estate now occupied by the civil-service college in Sunningdale/Ascot. It used to be owned by Lord Derby, I believe.
A nice little string of race-horses, jodhpurs, a cheese-cuter and a hacking jacket would just complete the picture. I once asked my mother-in-law if she could see me in a hacking-jacket and cheese-cutter, dressed up like a toff, and she laughed like a drain. The cheeky mare !
September 9, 2019 at 01:25 #1453217Darren, is there room behind that sofa for both of us
I don’t know how your nerves are, but mine are shot after Rafa
looking like he had it in the bag 2 sets to 0 up. Medvedev has
come storming back and its 2 games all in the final set. I’ve got
finger, toes and everything else crossed for your man. I hope he
can pull it off mateSeptember 9, 2019 at 02:19 #1453218Woo-Hoo ….bejesus Darren, he didn’t half put you through
the wringer, but I’m glad for you that he got there in the end. That
was some double you had, winner of the women’s and the men’s championships.
I’m off to get some shut-eye now, and I’m delighted for you mateSeptember 9, 2019 at 12:40 #1453228Thank you BigG am still alive after that crazy match it was after he won done a David Pleat jig at home at 2am it was so happy he won it
Also happy with Medvedev as put him up at 50/1 Austrailian open next year now as short as 10/1
September 9, 2019 at 13:32 #1453231Congratulations on that lovely double, Dazzler. Also, Medvedev placed at 50s – presumably, at least 10/1. I did him a little earlier, I think, in another competition, on your advice, and should evidently have stuck with him!
I suspect you’re providing the bookies with a free odds-compiling service. On the other hand… has it been free…? ha ha I think NOT!
September 9, 2019 at 17:58 #1453247Grimes the bet i got on Medvedev is 50/1 for the Australian open which is next major in jan 2020 but if look at price now he 10/1 with some firms so happy got early price
September 9, 2019 at 21:12 #1453274I mean …er… you know what I mean. I bet you’re pleased. (Something went wrong here, when I tried to edit away the italics. Sorry about that).
If they haven’t already ‘got your number’, you’ll soon be known as ‘a face’ in betting shops, and wherever else you might punt. That sounds a cracking bet, as Nadal and Fedex, . being finally, at last, on the way down, with Medvedev very near the top now…… Still Djokovic to beat, But I prefer someone good who’s ‘on the up’, rather than a multiwinning veteran. But heck, even with the place on Med you can cover that and make a nice profit!
I love the image I have of you*, AthosBG, Porthosrayban and Mo D’Artagnan, all hiding behind your settees when a result is ‘nip and tuck’, balanced on a razor’s edge, and y’all calling out ambulances for each other, to remain on standby !
*I don’t know who the boss of the Three Musketers was, but I reckon they would vote you for that – apart from your being boss of the thread.
