7-50 Kempton – Pedasus…..N/R
November 14, 2008 at 18:06 #189715the first at cheltenham is very, very difficult to assess,as nearly all of them have chances for various reasons, but after going through the forms,i will go with nina carberrys ride, aggies lad.the horse has a fresh, unexposed profile, tony martin is an absolute master of his profession(especially in these races..)but the main reason for me is the last form:three horses improved a lot after that race, namely drumconvis, fond of a drop and merchant paddy.so,to me,that is the best piece of form in the race.from the older ones,i think that,at the head of the handicap, king harald could run a big race from the front.he is a sound jumper, which is always good in these races, very honest, goes well fresh,trip/ground are ok,so big chance for me.but as i said,i stick with nina and aggies lad.good luck, mates

November 15, 2008 at 18:01 #189918Andy, the lays and plays section is generally one where people have their own threads and they will put up selections over a period of time, and then can go back and check back over profits and and losses, and analyse how they are betting etc, trust me when you are goign back through it after a prolonged period, it is enough of a nause without having to filter out posts from others.
Cav isnt being funny, that’s just the way it is. But obviously being new you wouldnt know that, so its no bother.
Sorry Cav…I’ll delete this post later
November 16, 2008 at 11:40 #190017Keep your knickers on Andy and read Bulwarks explanation which sums it up very well. Plenty of space on here for all of us, just start a column / thread with your name on it and I look forward to reading it

Overall Profit…..-14.98 pointsMonthly review: 15 winners from 81 bets gives a strike rate of 18.51% for the month and a 15 point loss. 13 bets finished second so overall not too bad given the time of year and the losers will be a better price next time out. I’m satisfied that most of the horses I’m putting up have shown the necessary ability on debut to win a race during the first 7 or 8 races of their careers.
sorry to say but dont give up your day job. 15 winners from 81 bets and most of them odds on. hmm. tell you what i will give you a winner for sat cheating chance at ascot 2.30. 2 point win.
