This runner came from Mark Johnston and in his juvenile days won a maiden 5furlong race off 95. Been run over 7furlongs since coming here.
Yard not shy advertising their runners chances, and runs off 43.
Only ever placed in juvenile days winning once over six and once over five. Runner up both trips twice. Wide margin winner both wins.
Always goes to the start early
I’m reading lots into this but this horse led for a significant way in the Coventry before tailing off finishing third on his side of the draw ( 5th of 8 double figure drawn runners).
Has only two ways of running and likely to be seen to best effect over 6furlongs. So today looks to be a trip taster.

This runner came to mark Usher from sir mark Prescott whose m/o of getting runners a good mark by running them at the wrong trip.
He had got this one ready prior to a switch of yards and this one won fto at a massive price at Chelmsford. Off the boil since and comes to Southwell for the first time. Outside chance only and would make a small each way bet with the yards other runner.
No need to go big here on either as they are speculative punts.
No other selections before returning to jumps….Wasn’t planning on doing another race today…
