    Naas 1.35
    Alice Avril
    Each way
Goes the right way in a contest where the principles have questions going this way round.
This front running French horse won in the summer with a bit of give in the going and gets the right conditions here off a featherweight.
A beaten favourite two runs ago Henry De Bromhead could offer no reason for a poor performance which peetered out on good ground late on. Rachael Blackmore rides.
Won a claiming hurdle on soft ground in France.

    Naas
This is going to be very very tight.
Ginto gets the vote over whatdeawant and Hollow Games
Whatdowewant could beat the two of them on the bumper win over Ginto but Ginto really had kicked on since then and all depends on wether Willie Mullins has ecked any further potential out of his runner.
Bare form is taken and Ginto is a win bet
    While
Hollow Games is a win w/o Ginto.

    Now watch whatdeawant go!!!

Tiny profit but a very good win for Ginto who had to work much harder than expected and it was the returning Grand Jury who made them all fight and must be backed on next run ..

Bronn was made to work hard and it remains to be seen what the stewards have to say about his tussle against the rails.
Nonetheless a good win for Bronn to frank his earlier win and a nice double with Blue lord. Backed into evens from 2/1.

Some elementary choices concentrated on the Naas meeting and Ayr,(Coupled with some free money in the Liverpool Chelsea game) and a strong selection in the soul selection thread produced some decent profit today.

David Evans has four runners today two at Lingfield and two at Wolverhampton I suggest putting them in an each way lucky 15 small stakes.
Starlyte runs in a maiden hurdle at Mussleburgh and has an each way chance.

Chocolate box had a busy year on turf and while all three wins came at Chelmsford remains well treated in first two winning marks. Famous Star looks progressive

As is often the case, we are attending after the lord mayor’s show. You cannot have sunshine without rain and with 8 winners yesterday something had to give. David Evans has given me a place from two runs so far and there was momentary excitement when Lord Gorgeous went four lengths clear! Not to be, and two more runners later on for the trainer Midgetonamission 15/2 was second at Lingfield.
Famous Star won readily enough to get the show back on the road….

Ran well for a long way and is taken to win here.
Elsewhere The newcomer first Dynasty has been heavily backed and the 95k horse may win but

Ran green on debut and is a huge price here.

For M.Botti steps up in trip here and is a tentative choice. The Prescott horse is dangerous on handicap debut and hopefully he is looking for a favourable mark to exploit still. But my selection has come from Richard Hannon after competing at a better level and ran on well last time on debut for this Newmarket yard under Marco Ghianni. The partnership continues here and this Gigginstown bred runner can step up here after facing a well prepared Godolphin runner last time

Been a shocking day in retrospect but…
“David Evans has four runners today two at Lingfield and two at Wolverhampton I suggest putting them in an each way lucky 15 small stakes.”
    So far
    Lord Gorgeous upl @ 100/1
    Midgetonamission 2nd @ 13/2
    Findhus 4th @ 66/1 sky paying 4pls
    One to go
    Hoping that Right Action
Can make use of a career low mark down in a seller to at least place in the 7pm as the last leg of my ‘ lucky’ 15 former Richard Fahey runner who has been with David Evans for a while now and has shown enough to suggest he retains enough ability to go close here. In addition to his low mark Gina Manghan claims 5lbs.
Has certainly been prepped for this run having been ridden by a variety of jockeys for the Evans yard including Marquand, Probert, Murphy. My prices for my placed runners so far were 15/2 & 50/1 and I’m on here at 7/1.
The terms are each way four places so I’m hopeful……

    but …..

An each way lucky 15 landed from the one trainer.
The way Gina Manghan plugged on there at the end she knew the yards connections had money on the same bet as me and got fourth place.
    Happy days again.
    Placed at 50s 15/2 7/1.
    Sps 66/1 13/2 and 13/2.

    Hello Triptych.
    How is Dave?
Thinking lots of good thoughts and all is crossed. Say hi for me.

I got a bit excited about the chances of Lord Gorgeous Triptych!
Wasn’t to be but he showed good early speed and was four up at one stage.
Certainly one to keep an eye on as Evans will get to work on this horse and has plenty of scope and potential.

    Possible soul selection later but….
    NO SELECTIONS TODAY
