Mahusay is the only one I’m interested in today, and I’d be disappointed if he failed to win Pontefract’s 2.45.

    Dark Charm 5.15 Pontefract
Might go well judged on recent run under todays Jockey.
Won here last year off 2lb higer mark.
Jockey just back from two day ban incurred at Haydock on june 23rd for excessive use of whip. He actually dropped said whip one furlong out happily for Dark Charm. Lost by a head.

    Coeur Coraguex
    4.15 Pontefract
Also looks an interesting runner, non runners above and below him in the handicap and one of three Nicholls runners in this race.
Continent and Turnkey stables other two. Continent the big danger.

    Willyn 2.45
worth a watch for stable who had a big winner yesterday.
    Cheekpieces on for first time.

Just looked at the overnight declarations for Newmarket. Not too sure about anything in particular.

Waveline hits me at a decent price (around 20/1). Worth a little bit EW – not too much.

She fell out of the stalls in the Albany and Jimmy Fortune lost an iron – she was beaten around six lengths. If all goes well at the start this time she should finish a lot closer to You’resothrilling. The dryer ground will be in her favour and she comes from the yard that won this two years ago with Donna Blini.
