Well done VTC with your EW selection ORDINARY WORLD hope you avail yourself to the 50/1. Should put you in the lead. Remember though it was on the second day last year that I took the lead and kept it. :good:

Altior was lucky in my opinion, but it all counts. Buveur D’Air was my fancy for the Arkle. He won the Champion Hurdle on merit, and could have won the Arkle too. Maybe next year the Champion Chase, or even like Dawn Run in the eighties a future Gold Cup winner. :good:

Buveur D’Air was my fancy for the Arkle.

I backed him at 16s for the Arkle a year ago- it’s in the 2017 Cheltenham Bets thread. Throw in Apple’s Jade backed ante post for the Champion Hurdle and it’s a question of so near, so far…

Well, of my 1st 4 runners, 3 didn’t make it to the final decs,
and the one that did (Ch’Tibello) was pulled out on the day with
a foot problem. I’ve had better starts

Brilliant start with Ordinary World Bobby, he looked very nice in the paddock on TV :good: Keep it up.
Hope you backed Tiger Roll, noticed he was your reserve in Nathan’s comp.

That Ch’Tibello was a hard one to take Graham

I’ll do Leaderboard later on (not as important now I’m not leading lol)

It was Bobby, I think both of us could have done well out of him. If you consider
that My Tent Or Yours finished 2nd, and our boy beat him fair and square the last
twice, then you never know what might have been

Well done with Tiger Roll, that was a nice price :good:

Great start to the comp for Middle of March, who takes the lead thanks to Altior, and a nice 50-1 shot with My Tent Or Yours. Middle of March deserves to go close in this after just missing the deadline for The Ten To Follow, and it would be nice to see him collect.

MTOY was also a nice lift for Milbear & Racing Orchid, well done guys.

I had a 50-1 placer as well, with Ordinary World, and wasn’t happy to get knocked off the top perch when MTOY came in.

Pricewise is in the hunt after Cloudy Dream placed in The Arkle, and PeterH also scored from him.

Frankie, Jaso, and Pointer all collected from Altior.

    Middle of March -5.9

    Milbear0 -7.5
    Racing Orchid -7.5
    Venture to Cognac -7.5

    PeterH -13.75
    Pricewise -13.75

    Frankie Mac -18.40
    Jasolong -18.40
    Pointer -18.40

I’ll be out tomorrow on the piss, so scores will either be updated late tomorrow, or Thursday, which might be the more sensible option.

Cheers VTC. These were the only successful races for me today which is lucky. Long way to go yet though

Just had a look on last years thread to understand the scoring. A good format in my opinion.

Some nice scores yesterday, and Peter takes up the running.

Excellent pick from Pat with Willoughby Court who was massive 20-1, nice one Pat :good:

In The RSA, Might Bite did the business for Fantastic Fair Along & Jaso.

Fantastic Fair Along had a great day yesterday in The Ten To Follow, and not doing too shabby here either with more points courtesy of Fox Norton, who also scored for Joliff, and Moyenne.

Sir Valentino also scored place points for Gibbs, and myself.

Last, but certainly not least, were Goodfellow, King Sprinter, Peter, Pointer, and Zark who all bagged Special Tiara.

Well done to Pat, and all of you on Special Tiara.

Pointers making a fight of it, as are Sprinter, Zark, and Goodfellow.

I hope I’ve got this right lol

Good luck to Peter, Sprinter, and Pointer going into the last

3 guys who always support this competition, so would be very well deserved. Good luck to Zark, who can also land the runner up spot.

Very well done PeterH, who wins with a nice total. Some nice picks Peter, and I’ll ping you a message on FB later to arrange your £75.

Pointer, unlucky mate, but good to have you on board again……..send me a message on here with your details, and I’ll get your £25 to you.

Well done to Zark, Sprinter, Goodfellow, Pat, myself, and Milbear for getting into profit.

Last but not least, can I give a big thanks to BigG, and Red Rum 77, who very generously put up the cash prize.

I’m genuinely shocked! I never believe I’m going to come anywhere near winning these competitions, i merely make up the numbers! The idea of finally seeing my name on the roll of honour is something I’m really very proud of!

Bobby, once again you’ve done a fantastic job running this comp. Thank you for making these things possible!

Well done Peter and all that were in profit. How did Pricewise do
Bobby? I kind of knew my fate was sealed with 6 failing to trap.
At least Defi Du Seuil saved me from a whitewash today
Thanks for running the competition again Bobby, it must be a nightmare
to run, I think someone suggested before it was like trying to herd
    cats….probably worse than that
