Yeah, you’re spot on with that Stilvi, and I try to cover that situation.
I’d expect the next race to be covered on Tuesday, and I suspect he might be doing selections on the Wednesday & Thursday again as well, but this is a lot different to how he’s done it in previous years.
With the entries out for Ryanair & Champion Chase, he might be covering them. I’ll check Racing Post over the weekend to see what he’s got planned. In previous years if they don’t say when next race is covered, I’ll phone Racing Post & ask them what’s next.
I normally open the next race the morning before his pick appears in the paper, and this lets us grab the prices as early as possible, because obviously people know what he’s went for the night before as well, and I try my best to give as early a notice as possible.
January 14, 2016 at 23:28 #1229576My Champion Chase Bet is 1 pt EW FELIX YONGER 25/1 Boylesport (NRNB)
January 15, 2016 at 13:31 #1229603If the champion chase entries are open i’ll take Sprinter at 4s (i’d hardly take anything else now would I haha!)
2pts win Sprinter Sacre @4/1 paddy power.
This will be my selection either way, if entries not open and price retracts i’ll take whatever it is.
January 15, 2016 at 15:25 #1229614I’ll hold fire Sprinter, until I know what race is next, but when I do, I’ll automatically select him for you at best price available.
January 15, 2016 at 17:28 #1229621Thank you
January 15, 2016 at 18:10 #1229626No worries Sprinter.
At the moment it looks like The Champion Chase on Tuesday, followed by The Ryanair on Wednesday. So I’ll be happy to take selections from 12 Noon on Monday for both races.
If this changes I will let you all know.
January 16, 2016 at 14:30 #1229770No updates that I could see in the paper today, so I’ll hopefully confirm that those 2 races will be this weeks schedule, either tomorrow evening or early Monday Morning……so keep your eyes peeled
January 16, 2016 at 17:05 #1229786If the two races come up, my selections will be: Dodging Bullets (7/1-WHill) for the QMCC, I believe it´s 8/1 in general? 2pts
Don Cossack (10/1 E/W-WHill) for the RyanAir. 1ptBest Wishes
SilkJanuary 16, 2016 at 17:15 #1229788No worries Kentucky, I’ll take best prices for you once the races are opened on Monday :good:, as not taking selections just now.
Interesting shout with Don Cossack by the way, hadn’t even considered him for that.
