For the next few weeks Pricewise (Tom Segal (usually)) advises people on Ante Post selections of the Cheltenham Festival. This little competition is to see if we can do better. Here are the rules.

1 Any one can enter, just stick your selection down here (somewhere).

2 I’ve extended the number of races to 15

    See post just below

3 All Ante Post selections will be treated like proper Ante Post bets.
That’s they all count whether they run or not.
All Each Way selections will be first three, but at a quarter the odds. No boosted odds.
Any exceptions to the above must be stated in writing (non runner, no bet or words meaning the same) or (extra places) and must use any bookmaker using that particular term. At the moment that’s William Hill and 888.sport. go nrnb but the odds are generally a few points lower.

4 Your allowed up to 2 selections per race, they don’t have to be at the same time so long as they’re made before I close the selections for that race.

1 selection will be either 4 points win or 2 points EW
2 selections will be either 2 points win or 1 point EW (mix or match).
No need to do the staking plan as I will take care of that.

5 Your allowed to substitute any bet for another,(while the selection process for that race is open) but it must be stated that its a substitute for horse X. Otherwise if you have just one runner, I will assume it’s a second runner or if you already have 2 runners, I will use your latest 2 runners.

6 I will allow early selections for any of these races,(before I open the selections for them races), but will only record the price when I open the selections for them races. You are allow to alter the selection(s) for reasons according to rule 5.

7 All selections must state the race that you want me to take it for, otherwise it will be void. Any errors just make a new post.

8 If you put a selection down before Pricewise’s and they’re the same selection and his odds beats yours then I will match your odds (Same terms though).

9 We all start on a level playing field, that’s 4 points per race.

10 No exchanges and all bookmakers in oddschecker must be able to take EW betting.

Sorry about this, RR, but in the light of Willie Mullins’ comments about not overfacing Lossiemouth (so why enter her into an above average Champion hurdle?!?) can I rejig by replacing her with Zarak The Brave e/w 50-1 (various) please? :rose:

Of cos, Oscar. This was one of the reasons I made the substitute rule. Remember when I close selections for a particular race though that all selections are finalized. :good:

Hi Oscar, just for my understanding at the moment Corach Rambler is your Gold Cup hope
and Champion Hurdle goes something like :

Impaire Et Passe (replaced by) Lossiemouth, but also added Not So Sleepy, then Lossiemouth replaced by Zarak The Brave

Meaning that Zarak The Brave and Not So Sleepy are your current hopes in the Champion Hurdle.

You've got to accentuate the positive.

That’s okay Oscar, your wording was perhaps a little unclear as you said, but following it through that my recent post on here was how I precede it.
