Double points for Boz today, as his star horse, Great Field, scores at Leapordstown.
Great Field 13.10
March 13, 2016 at 23:11 #1237280Excellent performance from Many Clouds today, who scored for 5 of you, including Peter, who closes the gap at the top.
Many Clouds 17.2
That was the first winner in the competition for a fortnight, hopefully there’ll be some big races will be coming up soon, and we’ll get some points on the board.
March 15, 2016 at 18:03 #1237712Far too many scorers to mention today, but as usual, special mention to our leader Roosterbooster, who stays clear, thanks to Douvan & Annie Power.
Goodfellow, Rocky, and Goldie, are snapping at his heels, with Dac, who scored double with Douvan, not far away either. Douvan also scored double points for Seven Towers.
Outstanding sub for Rob, as he scores a whopping 55.10 off of Ballyalton.
If you have any issues with the leaderboard, be patient, as I’ll double check everything at the end of the week. I’ve already had issues with Gingertipster today (insert your own punchline there )
Tomorrows scores and Thursday Runners will be up late tomorrow night, as I’ll be out drinking tomorrow
Min 6
Douvan 51.10
Sizing John 12
Holywell 6
Annie Power 53.10
My Tent Or Yours 12
Vroum Vroum Mag 38.60
Ballyalton 55.10March 17, 2016 at 00:35 #1238246Roosterbooster goes further clear, and he didn’t even have a winner, thanks to his Runners up, Yanworth & Un De Sceaux.
Rocky takes second place, thanks to Yorkhill, and Peter isn’t far off the leading group, with Sprinter Sacre proving a very good sub for him.
Yorkhill 41.10
Yanworth 6
Shaneshill 12
Sprinter Sacre 55.60
Un De Sceaux 12March 17, 2016 at 09:28 #1238295Thanks VTC, some effort with all the updates you do.
hopefully Thistlecrack and limini do the business todayMarch 17, 2016 at 18:38 #1238499Another fantastic day for Roosterbooster, what can I say, just great picks.
Some great scores for those in behind but it’s going to take some performance to catch our leader.
Rocky is in second, but he won’t be caring, as I suspect his bets today, were slightly more important than his points in this competition. Very Very well done with 25’s Thistlecrack mate, and of course Limini.
Black Hercules got us off and running with big points on the board for Nathan, TAPK & Corm who had him as very good sub. Bristol De Mai got 6 points for runners up spot, and has been a good sub for Trip. Nice pick Jac.
Too many to mention for Vautour, though Raymo gets a mention, as he’s surprisingly, the only person to have him as star horse. 12 Runner up Points for, yup, Raymo, with his sub horse Valseur Lido.
A good few of you had subbed Thistlecrack in, so well done to you all, and THM got 12 points, courtesy of Alpha Des Obeaux.
That brings us onto Cause of Causes who sprouted wings to land the points for Mark & Myself, oh yeah, and f’cking Raymo had him as well lol. Well done Raymo, smashing day for you.
Big mention to PeterH, who had a fantastic day at the bookies, and took a good few quid off them.
Black Hercules 51.9
Bristol De Mai 6
Vautour 51.8
Valseur Lido 12
Thistlecrack 51.70
Alpha Des Obeaux 12
Limini 38.70
Cause of Causes 42.40March 18, 2016 at 00:19 #1238587Thanks for the mention Bobby!!
Absolutely brilliant job as always!!
Did you get carried away with the leaderboard? Or do I deserve two mentions ?
If I ever meet you I would buy you a drink or whatever for all the good stuff you do .
Top Notch
March 18, 2016 at 18:31 #1238796Outstanding win for Don Cossack today in The Gold Cup, and he scored for 17 of you, including our leader, Roosterbooster who remains well clear. Six of you had him as star horse, including Jamie, who moves into second as a result.
Djakadam got 12 Bonus points as well, and yes, Roosterbooster has him as well.
The only other horse to get points today was Fagan, who put in a big run for Rob, to finish second in The Albert Bartlett.
March 19, 2016 at 16:48 #1239013Running Saturday 19th March
1515 Kempton – Townshend
1600 Newcastle – Seldom Inn
Just a reminder, that scores will be given thorough check early next week.
My ability to put the hex on Mullins runners remains unparalleled!
Seldom Inn presumably continues to mystify Sandy who has a decent opinion of him.
March 21, 2016 at 15:13 #1239230After the disappointment of Townshend & Seldom Inn, and his excellent pick, Fagan, going so close at Cheltenham, Rob gets a winner today at Kelso with Benny’s Secret.
Benny’s Secret 13.20

Benny’s Secret 13.20
He has tested the patience but everything clicked today and I hope Benny’s Secret can kick on from this confidence booster.
March 22, 2016 at 16:54 #1239397This may be a silly question VTC or just plain madness, but do you think anyone on here would be interested in having a go at the 10 to follow for the coming flat season? I appreciate the effort it takes for you and a lot of people on here prefer the jumps, but just a thought….

Jamie it’s a great idea and as a fan of the flat I would love someone to do it..but how about if we posted up 10 to follow and added up our own individual scores throughout the season..wouldn’t take 5 minutes of our time..It would have to be locked in with a no editing thread until it was time to ballot out two from our stable if necessary..but would be interested to hear if Bobby thinks it might be possible in this format..although looking at all the blood sweat and tears that goes into this I think the scoring is going to be the problem…Maybe 5 to follow would be easier or maybe even 3 Dark Horses for the flat to encourage us to find horses that are going to beat the likes of Coolmore and John Gosden with one star horse elected for double points..Jac
I wish I could do this but with family health problems at present and my own competition on Saturdays I don’t think it would be possible to give it the time it obviously needs…Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 23, 2016 at 09:19 #1239470This may be a silly question VTC or just plain madness, but do you think anyone on here would be interested in having a go at the 10 to follow for the coming flat season? I wish I could do this but with family health problems at present and my own competition on Saturdays I don’t think it would be possible to give it the time it obviously needs…It would be great to get something going, but like you, with home family commitments couldn’t commit to it right now. It does actually sound like a lot of time and effort that I didn’t think about when putting up the idea. Maybe the Tote or RP will come to their senses and bring back the original.
March 23, 2016 at 10:28 #1239478Yes Jamie lets hope Tote or RP bring it back although I must admit I really enjoy playing within the Forum it makes it more interesting and fun..can’t thank Vtc and all who contribute to the prizefund enough for the time and effort put into this comp.
I’m hoping to be a better player next season…with only 8 horses left in my team after the injury problems with Faugheen and Artic Fire and my star horse never making it to the track I’m amazed to have the points I have.
Plenty to occupy us throughout the flat season and The Telegraph Fantasy Flat Racing, which will be starting soon, is a great way to build a stable and compete for prizes whilst playing as part of a TRF team..so see you there..JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 23, 2016 at 10:47 #1239482I agree…nice one..
March 23, 2016 at 19:02 #1239530Hollies Pearl scored at Haydock today for RedRum77, and she might be back out tomorrow in the 1405 at Chepstow.
Hollies Pearl 11.40
