The Blues Brother for his posts on speed figures and his patient answering of sometimes demanding enquiries.

Many are worthy of a mention: The likes of Gamble, AP,Glenn, Rory etc. Some of those don’t post so much these days, so my nom is for Steeplechasing. His ‘The day we buried Red Rum’ was a great read and he’s always worth checking out.

    In short:

    Steeplechasing

    If allowed three:

    Eclipse First
Excellent breeding knowledge, thought provoking and not afraid to disagree.

    PaulOstermyer
Every post worth reading and to the point.

    Jonibake
100% belief and defence in Frankel, always fair in his opinions/posts.

    If just one:
    Eclipse First

I would also like to nominate 3 if possible.

Ginge – a loyal contributor to TRF, a mine of information (some of it actually useful :) ) and the site would be the poorer without him.

Steve Caution – has brought wit, humour and intelligence to the forum.

Hammy – for being the nicest guy on the forum.

If TAPK hadn’t already been nominated I would nominate him also.

For his ‘blinkered’ opinion on that bloody

    Frankel

and for getting his assessment right everytime and for reminding me at every opportunity that I have never judged a horse so wrong ever……………

    Jonibake

    !
What I will say though is there is some excellent ‘Fresh blood’ on here and all have something original to offer, they know who they are! :D. Cheers ‘Boz’ by the way!

I’ve got to agree with that. One of the best anecdotes I have read on the internet.

    Triptych

is a good read, funny and intelligent and her passion for the horses shines bright. If I was campaigning she would win but I’ve promised Ginge that I’ll keep my trap shut……….
